To install a barn door without the headboard, we drilled additional holes in the bar itself and used these additional screws to secure the bar to the studs in the wall. For $10 and 5 minutes worth of drilling we have a perfect and stable barn door with a minimum side gap as it sits flush to the wall.

I had a contractor put the barn door in and it never stayed shut. Well it was because they did not have spacers on the ends to keep the bar from bending. Now it works great.

I had installed a sliding barn door track that was 9 ft in length. The 4.5 ft sections were designed to be able to connect together to obtain the length you need. Therefore, there was an extra mounting hole that a lag and spacer was not provided for. This product exactly matched the color, diameter, length, and standoff for the track. I am extremely pleased with this product and seller.

I had lost my spacers and was thrilled to find these at an affordable price. They're very heavy duty and install easily. The bolt head size is 1/2 inch.
