Excellent piece for your home gym
Extremely solid and well made, easy to assemble and most importantly, ergonomic and sized perfectly for deadlifts for those on the taller side (I'm 6'3" and this is perfect sized for me). Also the bar height off the ground allows easy change out of 45lb weights which adds convenience and the feet are perfectly stable even for both changing weights and lifting. Great value for the money and highly recommended as an addition to a home gym with pro gym quality.

Fantastic Hex Bar at a great price
This is the exact same model I use at Physical Therapy, which is why I chose it. The built-in stand means it is easy to load plates. They never touch the floor.I included the photo so you can see how big it is. I am 6' 1" with long legs and have no issues using this. Please note this ONLY accepts Olympic Plates, the ones with a 2" diameter hole, so you can't use your 1" plates and clips. The build quality is superb, and with a good wrench and socket it assembled in a few minutes. This is an essential tool for leg muscle building and squats.Be sure to use good form - butt out, back straight and head up - and this Hex Bar (or Trap Bar) will get the job done.

Good quality !
Product came with all necessary hardware and easy to follow instructions. Assembled in 15 minutes with 11/16โ wrench, socket and ratchet. Height is perfect as the weights slide on easily. Weight is 28 lbs. This is much safer on the back than a straight bar!

Solid Bar for the Price
This trap bar is exactly what I needed for deadlifts and shrugs at home. The build feels solid and it handles weigths without any wobble or flexing, even when pushing it close to its max. The green color looks pretty cool, it adds a little character compared to the standard chrome or black bars.Only reason it's not 5 stars is the finish scuffs a bit easier than I expected. It doesn't affect performance, but worth noting if you're particular about looks. Still, itโs definatly a good bar and a solid addition to any home gym setup. I suggest getting some grip tape on the bars to help with your grip. Value is there. Thickness is ideal for a trap bar. Workout is top notch now without hurting the back.

Functional, Durable and a Great Value
General:Very pleased with this bar so far. I bought it becuase I like that the stand allows for ease of loading/unloading plates - I have a home gym but don't have a bar jack and loading/unloading a bunch of plates onto a normal bar gets old. The stand creates a higher grip height (neccessarily because the collars need to be high enough to allow a 45lbs plate to clear the ground while loading). Further, the grips themselves are elevated as well. Net-net, your starting grip position is 3" higher than it would be with an olympic bar with plates resting on the ground. I want to get full depth so I've solved for this by building a small platform that will fit between the plates and it's worked very well - I get ease of loading and unloading, and go to full depth on my lifts.Durability:I'll need to update this as time goes by as I've only been using it for 2 months, but so far, it's holding up very well. I'll go as high as three 45lbs plates on each side and I've not had a single issue - everything is tight and the stand doesn't deform when I'm a little too aggressive in making contact with the ground at the bottom of the lift.Functionality:Obviously works well for deadlift type movements but I also found it great for shrugs, though I would guess that if you're smaller, the hand width you're locked into might make that movement uncormfortable and less efficient. I've also used it for shoulder work as an overhead press by flipping it over.Bottom Line: I have no illusions that this bar will hold up for 10 years given the number of pieces and tube construction. That said, It's made well for what it is and has been so functional for me, that if it only lasted 3-4 years (given the amount of weight I put on it), I would absolutley buy another, given the value.

Good Trap Bar
The bar was packaged nicely in a small box. All the hardware was there for easy assembly. It took more time to unbox all the part then it was to put the trap bar together. The bar is stable and has a weight limit of 500 lbs. for a home gym it works great for me. I would purchase again.

Easy assembly and so far, so good...
I've had a home gym for years and I'm picky about what I add to it, just based on space...but I'm glad I got this for deadlifts. Price was right on prime days and assembly took me about 20-25 mins with my 5 year old (yes...they just HAD to help) ;) it would be quicker with 2 adults. Anyways, I've used it a few times so far and works great. I'd recommend ๐. Photos attached.

It's perfect for home gyms. Well worth the money.
My original Trap Bar is an old original Al Gerard Trap Bar (he's a powerlifter from the 1980's and the original inventor of the Trap Bar. Google "Al Gerard Trap Bar" to see a picture of it). It's wide, clunky, and not free-standing, so I bought this Bar). I have had this hex Trap Bar for a few weeks now, and I am very pleased with it. I read that some people had problems assembling the bar. You will need to assemble the Bar loosely before tightening everything down. With items like this, always expects that not all holes will line up exactly perfect. I installed all of the bolts, washers, and nuts, and then tightened everything down. It's solid as a rock. The bar comes with two, thick rubber spacers (one on each side) to space the weight plate away from the handle. The spacers are about the same size and thickness as a typical chrome-plated lock collar. This still doesn't allow for enough space to easily wrap lifting straps around the handles, so I added two old lock collars I had lying around. They work perfect. I recommend this bar.
