I can't use my hanging towel holder anymore because they are making the paper towels rolls too short, which makes me mad. So I got this one to put on the counter. It matches my decor, is very sturdy, and doesn't take up a lot of room in my small kitchen. I have no trouble tearing off a towel sheet with one hand.

This just might qualify as an heirloom some day.What I especially like (and was looking for) is being able to use it one-handed. What's the point otherwise, right?The ironwork look to it makes it decorative enough to grace a counter, too.

Fits the super large paper towels, doesn't fall over when pulled, and the cast iron is an attractive touch (as attractive as a paper towel holder can be). It doesn't appear or feel cheap. Very easy to assemble.

There were scratches all over the product that had been filled in with Sharpie. It was also comical how lazy the instructions are. Step 3: "Finish" with a blank square for the illustration. Assembly should've been easy so I guess that explains the smart aleck instructions, but the screw hole was bent and damaged. It was literally impossible to assemble in the condition that I received it in. Horrible product and quality. This experience is laughable it was so bad.

I like the sturdiness and weight of the stand, so that towels will rip off easily. I will now use paper towels over dish towels more frequently.

Simple easy and looks nice in my kitchen

I wanted something that allowed for one-handed tearing off of paper towels. I was thinking it would need an unreasonably heavy base to accomplish that, but while fairly heavy, this holder more than lives up to my expectations. It's simple and sturdy and somehow manages to keep both itself firmly rooted to the counter and the roll from freely spinning to allow for very easy paper towel retrieving. I looked at many options and wasn't very confident I had made the correct selection, but I am extremely happy with this product.

I bought this to hold my paper towels. It was easy to put together and the metal finish is black and nice. No issues for me.
