Decided to try this size because I have a Boost width fork. It mounted up easily on my Nox Farlow rims (tubeless) and it looked burly as heck. But the first ride was a bit disappointing as it just seems to roll slower than their 2.3 version. I tried various air pressures from about 18 to 28 psi, needless to say the higher the better the roll. Tried it on Palm Canyon Epic, 26 miles of rocky, sandy desert d/h and really felt it was cumbersome and slow and didn't seem to offer any better hook-up than the skinnier one. Went back to the 2.3 and went back to Palm Canyon, SO much better for me: faster, better hook-up and handling.Your results may vary.
