Slothilda: Living the Sloth Life (1) Hardcover – October 2, 2018

I received my copy of "Slothilda: Living the Sloth Life" today! This book is so great. It's funny and upbeat. The artwork draws you into Slothilda's world, and you get to know and love her within a few pages of comics. For readers who haven't met Slothilda yet, she is a lovable cartoon sloth who works in an office, constantly diets, and has trouble staying motivated. And, Slothilda the sloth has a cell phone, and she has a pet dog. Her dog, a Corgi, is equally adorable, and I definitely relate to Slothilda's struggle to negotiate home life with a dog who likes napping, making messes, and eating as much as his owner.Spoiler alerts...Slothilda's dreaded "d-words" are "deadlines, diets, and dishes." Who doesn't relate to that? On practically every page, Fabiero and Slothilda make me laugh about my lamest attributes: Slothilda eating a truckload of bread on cheat day; Slothilda burning down the kitchen trying to cook; and Slothilda looking productive at work while actually engaged in online shopping.I'm planning to buy more copies for birthday and holiday gifts: the humor is innocent and so close to home, and I know my family will love it too! I'm excited to see more Slothilda antics in the future.

Before I got this book I'd heard of Slothilda but I don't recall looking at her online. So I consider me a newbie. Anyways, after I laughed at the first couple pages I ended up on the one in my photo. I think this sloth is my long lost twin or something, like this resonates with me completely and I love Slothilda so much 😍The book looks great and the pages are all in perfect condition and thick (read QUALITY *yay*) and the price wasn't bad at all. I'm so glad I bought this book for my lazy self. I'm really enjoying it. 🤗

So when I heard there was a whole book focused on Slothilda and her pup, I decided I had to have a copy right away!⠀-⠀What I love most about this book by @slothilda is the way it focuses on the Sloth Life, a life I very much love and envy. If you swipe right, you can see a sample page that very much speaks to my heart.⠀-⠀This book was super fast to read through, but I know it is one I will read through again and again because of how wonderfully sweet and beautifully drawn it is.⠀-⠀If you want to live a sloth life or are in love with this cute little sloth, pick up this book and show it to all your friends—they’ll love it, too!

I've never been so excited or anticipated anything more in regards to a sloth and her pet corgi.What a wonderful accomplishment to see these comics that I've been a fan of for years in book form.The book is beautiful, it's the perfect size to show off the illustrations, wonderfully put together, and while it feels strange to describe how paper/pages feel, it feels really high quality and you can tell this book was well thought and constructed.Slothilda is a cute character and as I've been able to relate so well, I know others will appreciate the humor, the cute illustrations and being able to flip through this over and over and appreciate it every single time.

It’s important to embrace your inner sloth! There’s a balance we all need, and this adorable sloth lives out that life in front of our eyes in this book! Dante’s work is creative, relatable, and so worth it in your collection. Every time I get a new Slothilda animated gif in my email, it brightens my day, so when I get to read an entire book of Slothilda, my day was blindingly bright!! I love working out, then looking at how Slothilda worked out. I love learning about not sleeping with my cellphone, then looking at how Slothilda is always attached to hers.Get a copy! You’ll get nonstop fun flipping through these pages!!

Short but cute, funny, and all too recognizable - Now I totally want Slothilda to be my new best friend!

I first met Slothilda from her instagram (@slothilda) and immediately feel in love. I could not stop tagging my fiance in each post and saying "this one is SO ME. no no no. THIS one is SO ME" I could just relate to her. She truly is my spirt animal. Run don't walk get this book you will be entertained and wanting more!! Even if you follow Dante's on instagram there are new comics I have not seen him post in the book. I can not wait for the next one! I promise she will be your new best friend.

How does a cute little sloth know so much about my life?! From the frustration of trying to use expired coupons, to the pure indulgence that comes from consuming massive amounts of cheesballs, Slothilda gets me. And she’s a dog lover, too. Nuff said. Do yourself a favor and buy this book for your office, coffee table, gift exchange, stocking stuffer, or if you simply need a book to turn to for a little chuckle throughout the day. Slothilda will bring joy to whomever is lucky enough to meet her. 😍 Awesome buy.
