Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Strumento assolutamente all’altezza. Management semplice ed intuitivo anche se un po’ di basi di conoscenza servono. Montaggio agevolato dai supporti forniti. Con aerazione e ventole lasciate libere scalda veramente pochissimo anche acceso h24 7/7. Acquistato dopo aver precedentemente preso altro strumento Netgear a 16porte con 8 PoE altrettanto affidabile e funzionale.

E il secondo switch che compro della Netgear, sempre al Top con garanzia a vita.

Great product and excellent value for money. The switch works very well and it is totally silent (finless). It is well built, solid and cleanly presented. Excellent factory packaging which protects the switch for transportation.The weakest link is the software platform. It has several things, that knowing Netgear's traditional attention to details, I would expect them to address soon: 1-It only works with Internet Explorer as it requires to have installed Java add-on which are not longer supported neither by Edge nor Google which are todays browsers most used under Windows 10. 2- The Smart Control Center Manager software adds little value as it only provides support for discovery, maintenance and task managing but for managing the switch it invokes the IE to access the web manager tools in the switch (so point 1 still applies for this as well). So in essence the only managing tool which is usable is the web based tool imbedded in the switch. 3- On top The Smart Control Center Manager requires to have Adobe to run the product. 4- I have not seen a way to manage the switch via CLI so I do not know whether it is supported or not.All the above software details are well outbalanced by the performance and great value for money of the product. All in all, a Good Choice!!!

We closed our office down and I ended up bringing a dozen servers home to migrate the contents to the kit at our datacentre. They were all configured to connect to different LAN's that had existed in our office so the easiest thing for me to do was to replicate those networks as VLAN's at home which meant needing a smart/managed Layer 2 switch. Having had various bits of Netgear switching kit at home over the years and having a strange love of the Netgear blue (told you it was strange) and with such a decent price I thought I'd grab a couple of these.VLAN configuration was slightly unintuitive initially and the interface feels a little old fashioned in comparison to some of the kit I've used but once you've got the hang of what needs setting where, then VLAN's and LAGG's work great and I had all of the servers up and running in no time.
