The New Premium
I have made a full transition to the Mizuno Tour. I have not experienced the scuffs or cuts in the ball like some have mentioned. I have hit in trees and bounced a cart path or two. I hit a drive into 25 mph wind recently for a true test. The ball was knuckling and went 280. My driving average has increased 25 yards since the switch. My playing partners have noticed a huge increase in spin on greens. I played a course with fast but soft greens, and I had to club up to account for spin back. I am getting spin back 10-15 feet on most courses. I love hitting this ball, and feel like I am in control of my shots. I am replacing ProV1x with Mizuno Tour. I have tried the cheaper 566V. The difference I see in those are it is too hot off of the putter face. It is worth giving them a shot for the price. Another advantage is I do not have to mark my ball right now. If I find a Mizuno ball, I know it is mine until more golfers make the switch.

Just as good and better than the best!
I love the feel of this golf ball. Paired with my MP52 irons, its the most flush and soft strike ever. Distance wise comparing to ProV1 and TP5, it seems to be a little longer due to a lower more piercing flight. On chips and pitches, there isnt a remarkable difference between the three. But, I love the large Runbird logo as it seems to help some with eye focus. Ive seen a lot of reviews stating that the ball shows a lot of cut marks after playing a round. While I agree that the ball shows more visible usage, Id call it scuff marks...not cutts. And it in no way affects the balls performance. Ive played 4 full rounds with the second ball from my first sleeve and its still going strong. Im sure that Mizuno will address the scuffing issue on future models, but I hope they keep the core design principles in place. Dont do what Nike did with the One Tour D and stop making the best ball ever.

Really Nice Golf Ball with One Huge Issue
I bought these balls really just to see if Mizuno could extent their technology to the golf ball. I've never played Mizuno golf balls ever and did not really know what to expect and found very few reviews of this ball as it's new to the US. I was very pleased with the overall performance of this ball on a cold windy day (45degrees). I"m a 7 hcp and I trap the ball very well against the turn. First the positives: The ball is crazy in the wind. I hit several shots that both drew into the wind and faded with the wind. This ball cut through both directions like a hot knife through butter. I mean it just held it's line. This was across all clubs. I did find a bit lower trajectory which helped in the wind. Driver spin seemed lower but really hard to tell, I did not have any balloon shoots which can happen in windy conditions if your not really skilled at keeping the ball down. Ball spins really well around the green and putts great. Soft and quiet off the putter. Now the not so good news: This ball is really soft and after just two well struck wedge shots it looks like it had been chewed up by my dog. I still played it and surprising it played well , I did not notice any issues with flight. I'll post picture in the next few days. Only 9 holes played with the ball and I think you will be amazed at the damage. I switched to another Mizuno for the back 9 and it fared much better. Maybe it's a one off. Further reviews will tell. Summary: This is a great ball. You should buy and try it as I believe the positives out weigh the negatives. Depending on your strikes it may be good for only one round, more data needed to confirm durability and I will post results. Let me know what you find as well. "FORE"!

Try them!
I'm around a 12 handicap so not an expert. LoLStopped to play a course on the drive home from vacation and realized I only had a few balls left. Bought these in the pro shop and love them.I hit them further (maybe 5/10 yards). But the BIGGEST difference was the feel.If you're on the fence just try them. Because if a golfer at my skill level can notice the quality then I believe you will also.

I liked the RB Tour X and reviewed highly but now am reviewing the RB Tour, it's not so great.
The RB Tour X review below is an accurate review of the harder of these two balls. The RB Tour, the softer of the two at 91 compression is a great ball and I like playing it, but the major drawback is the cover. If you get a round out of one ball you should consider yourself lucky. The cover on this ball is easily cut and a solid wedge strike will often damage the ball enough to take it out of play. Like I said, I really like this ball but the weakness of the cover will keep me from buying another dozen. When these are gone I will go back to the RB Tour X or maybe the ProV 1.A friend gave me one to play and I really liked it.Original review of the RB Tour X follows:This Mizuno RB TourX is a hard golf ball at 110 compression (the RB Tour is 90 compression) but surprisingly I can hit it just as far as I hit the lower compression Callaway Super Soft (38 compression). I was surprised at this, and after playing it for a round found it to be more accurate than the Super Soft. The occasional slice or hook was much less drastic with the Mizuno. Around the greens this ball performs quite well and has a comfortable feel. I have never really been one who "spins" a ball but this one holds the greens nicely. When I was told it was a "hard" ball I thought of the old rocks that Top Flight used to make but this is, in no way, should be compared to a Top Flight. I am 71 and much too old to worry about compression, windings, ball covers, and the like, I just want a ball that I can keep in play and can use to post reasonable scores. I may drop back to the RB tour just to compare, but this ball will be in my bag for awhile.

Great Ball
I happened to find the RB Tour X on our course and fell in love with it. I usually play PRO V1X. But this had a much softer feel with control and distance with the driver & iron shots. Also great spin control into the greens. Highly impressed so I had to order a box. I'm currently a 9 hdcp. So I'm curious to see if I can shed a couple more strokes.
