Room Essentials Clear Globe String Lights Set of 25 G40 Bulbs, Perfect for Patio, Gardens, Gazebos, Wedding Lights, Indoor /Outdoor, Christmas Lights

These lights put off a great ambiance. They hold up well in the rainy/windy weather here in Washington state. We stapled them (double stapled them) to our house/fence. We learned the hard way to wrap the connecting plugs with electrical tape so they don't come undone. One of the kids at a recent birthday party hit it with a bean bag accidentally and they dropped to the ground and some of the light broke. Very nice lights though. We have ordered 6 strands over a period of a few months and plan to order a few more.

originally I had to buy these due to my apartment not allowing me to use clear christmas lights for the patio. So I did my research. I recently reviewed this product before buying, where customer's were having issues with the bulbs being fragile and breaking. So I was indeed cautious once they arrived and once I had placed them on the patio. I didn't have a problem. All the bulbs worked. They look great as well as the size of them is perfect. I would recommend this to anyone looking for patio lights.

1st review:If I could I would give 0 stars. Upon opening and setting up lights I plugged them in to the outlet and "poof" with a loud popping noise the majority of the lights exploded and glass was everywhere! I had the shock of a life time and was so traumatized that I immediately went to target and returned them. I always wanted these lights and hope that this was a fluke. The outlet works fine so I don't know what the issue was.2nd review: I rebought these lights a couple weeks ago. It turns out I'm an idiot lol. Before plugging them in,make sure you unscrew each and every bulb and lay them on a towel on flat surface. It is very time consuming but if you do it right you won't be sorry. I went to Home Depot and also bought coaxial cable wire holders to hold wire in place. You must set up the light wire first without the lights. These are such a great addition to my jacuzzi gazebo and if I could show you a picture I know you would think so also! I will buy more of these for the perimeter of my pool and trees outside. I learned how to hang them properly after watching a YouTube video and looking at google to see what others had to say on how to do it. The light bulbs are very delicate but if handled properly and with proper care you should be fine. I didn't realize my first time around that these are definitely NOT like Christmas tree lights.

These lights are beautiful and just as described but they are so fragile that just hanging them can cause them to break. I was so careful it was almost ridiculous and still broke a bulb. If they so much as barely clink together they are a gonner. If you are going to hang these lights, you might want to take the time to unscrew each bulb before doing so. Otherwise, I would recommend a different string of lights that are a little sturdier.

I bought these lights because I've always loved the way they looked in pictures. I was planning a romantic outdoor dinner for my girlfriend and after I strung these up in the gazebo they were absolutely amazing. They were just like all the pictures I adored and it made such a nice atmosphere for us. She loved the whole thing so I was very pleased with this product. Currently, I have them on my bedroom walls and they put off a nice soft light. I also bought a dimmer switch that adds some variety. I would recommend these lights to anyone who loves this style of lights. Just be careful because these are glass and will break on you if not careful.

The lights are perfect for my Italian bistro look. I didn't have an issue with them breaking when clinked together as in one of the other reviews. But out of 2 packages, I did have one light that was broken at the base - seemed to be tightened to hard, and 2 lights that were burned out. So I do have to order bulbs now... but I would have had to order bulbs for the life of the product, so I don't think it is that big of a deal. But a suggestion to the company is to maybe put 2 spare bulbs in the package. Most Christmas lights do come with a couple of spare bulbs.

I love the light that these emit, they are long lasting as I have had them on my back patio for a long time and the bulbs do not go out, only on rare occasions. These are great for putting up and keeping them up all the time. I would not want to have them if I took them down and put them back up as they can break fairly easily.

I cannot believe it's been over 4 years since I bought this and it's still works just as new. Obviously I've exchanged SOME of the original bulbs, but that's it. And most are on me as I accidentally broke them. 4 years, exposed to all 4 seasons of New England, and it's still there outside my yard. This string light has been in 2 different residences, campgrounds, and even my wedding, and again, I cannot believe it still works just as the day I got it.
