Great experience on the 360
Very few people haven't played Angry Birds, but for those who haven't the 360 version is a great way to be indoctrinated into the Angry Birds addict club. True it's expensive when compared to games that are $0.99 - $4.99 (depending whether you're buying the regular or HD tablet editions) each on mobile platforms, but it's still a great experience. It's nice to sit back on the couch and fling birds around on the TV, and the game looks and sounds great on an HDTV.Having Angry Birds on a TV also makes for a great party game. Just leave Angry Birds on an a controller laying around and people will have great casual fun. It's also great to play with a Kinect, but it's just as playable with a controller.

Didn't think it would be THIS addictive!
My wife and I are on again, off again Angry Birds players and honestly we weren't quite sure how the X-Box 360 version would feel since we were used to playing this on our phones and computer... but WOW, is this game addicting! The controls are super easy, the game is drawn with beautiful and aethetically pleasing colors and there is enough challenge and variety to keep us coming back again and again... even to levels we've already played. This turned out to be a gem in our video game collection.

Addictive!
I could sit and play this game for hours. I could and I have! For someone who is used to being on the go all the time, there is nothing worse than being bedridden and forced to find something to keep you from losing your mind while you heal. This did the trick. Trying to destroy those evil, beady-eyed little pigs in their strange little houses. To call it addictive is an understatement. I am so happy they built a proper video game out of something I used to play on my phone.

Lots of fun on the big screen
Greetings! As of this review, the price is a lot higher than people are willing to pay--I think it's been mentioned already. Having never played this game on mobile platforms, I had no idea if the game is worth the money. It was my son that convinced me that the game is a ton of fun and the trilogy edition contained a lot of different levels and challenges. Is it worth the price? For my family, it certainly was worth it. Four of us play this game on a big screen LED HDTV and it looks and sounds amazing. With the scoring based system, there is incentive to play through the same levels multiple times trying to outdo your previous score or a family member's score. Add in hidden bonuses and achievements, and there is plenty of long term replayability in this game. Compared to some of the high-end $60 games that come with a 10-15 hour playthrough (and are often inappropriate for kids), Angry Birds offers a game for everyone that contains more content than a lot of other games. The controls are simple and responsive, making the game fun to play and removing the frustration of trying to figure out what button does what; you can jump right in, it's simple enough to pick up and play. My son, who has played on the touch screens, says the console controls are just as easy and he doesn't notice any lack of responsiveness. For any level, you can immediately restart the level by holding a button; this makes it quick and easy to try different strategies without having to go through the menu system.Overall, despite the concern about an inflated price, this game is well worth it. No one in my family owns a smartphone or tablet, so this Angry Birds game is our first experience with it. If it didn't exist in a free or cheap version for mobile platforms, I suspect the game would do very well at the current price point. It's fun, addicting, simple to play, and looks fantastic on an HDTV.

Son loves
My son has been playing since he was 4. Easy to learn. I love that you have to have an actual strategy to the game. It makes him think a lot and figure out what is the best way to defeat the Minion Pigs. He has had for about 5 months and still has not unlocked everything since it is 3 games in one plus all the bonus games too. So much fun!

Better on a touch screen device
The graphics are beautiful. But I find the smartphone version more addictive. The drag-your-finger action is more fun than the Xbox controller or the Connect interface. My kids will play Angry Birds on my phone until the battery dies but they don't often chose the Xbox game over the other games we have.
