What a useful item. Made for serious duty and simple great uses. I can’t believe that I wasn’t seeing this splitter on the market for the general public sooner. I remember my father and I making our own similar cords for specific projects. Even though the voltage may be muted a little bit when used with older wiring. The fact that electricity is like water flowing through the cords and voltage is the amount of amps/watts needed to power certain devices; keeps everything easy in my mind. My father was and still is a true analog genius who understood electrons to electricity and all the ways to maximize the ultimate power... makes items like this into something more than wire and design. When you either are forced into using a three prong cord; or you need the extra power of a 220v supply... this is a must.

We purchased 2 sets of these so we could cut down on all the cords under out couch. It has helped quite a bit. These are very sturdy, solid and worth the price.

The lamp cords next to our bed were too short. I used this "gem" behind to add length!!

The length is perfect for us and it is a very sturdy, well made short extension plug! I would recommend it to anyone.
