This company has closed and therefore these do not work. They failed to mention that when ordering. I’ll be returning them.

The device is discreet and easy to use. Ideal for folks who live in an urban environment and want a way to alert for help when using their phone may not be safe, or just a way to quickly notify loved ones when they've made it home safely. I could see this being great for those with elderly family members as well.The setup process was clear and easy, took maybe 10 minutes from opening the box to sending a first test alert, and everything was set up. A previous reviewer mentioned that only SMS alerts were working, but it seems that was temporary. We are receiving notifications with location, etc, within the Wearsafe mobile app, as expected. The features and simplicity are a good value for the price.

I bought two of these for my parents. It was pretty good: a circle of contact which the Wearsafe app installed, with the press of button an alert was triggered and the app installed on all the contacts started sounding alerts, while gps, audio and video recording were available so you could hear and see in real time what was happening in the place where the alert was triggered (all using a mobile phone connected to the button by Bluetooth). Unfortunately -and irresponsibly- the company, without any notification, just switched gears: now the apps is only for button wearers, now the contacts are notified by regular plain old SMS which is way less preferably and efficient than the app since a lot of SMS get into your phone daily and you have not way to filter the important ones, furthermore now you have to keep SMS notification active for 24 hour even while sleeping or risk missing an emergency. To see location, audio and video you have to go to a web site. Even worst we found out they changed everything because a scheduled testing of Wearsafe alert failed, just imagine if it were a real emergency...

I will consider changing this rating depending upon how long it takes for Wearsafe to help get my tag up and running. First problem was registering an account with Wearsafe and the app telling me that the password (that I just used to set up the account) was invalid. So I changed the password and then got to the activation screen where it said "ACTIVATION CODE ALREADY USED." This is on a brand new device! Next, there is no way to find a phone number on the Wearsafe website to call them. So I had to send a separate e-mail to their support team and the reply states that they will get back to me "as soon as possible.". This product is hardly ready-to-use out of the package. I have spent about 2 hours trying to help my girlfriend activate her Wearsafe tag and now have to wait for them to get back to us. This has not been an easy experience.

So far I don't like. There is no app for android or iPhone that I can find.The support website is not working so u can not activate the unit.Need problems fixed or will return for a full refund.

I didn't find out about the fees or charges until I downloaded the app.

K so others work by pressing the call button and itll take you to a call center in mid west and they will call 911 for you. They will ask you questions and 5 min pass b4 they send out a unit in ur area... this device is simple, u press button and it send out text to anyone u like... since i know my wife illness i look in my arlo and call 911 quick.... anyway the device works with ur phone and will alert anyone u put down on ur initial set up, it even has a feature thta dials 911 from the phone itself... small, lightweight and easy.. i love it

I bought this for my mother to wear on just incase she falls without her phone nearby. The setup in the app is a little frustrating since it took multiple attempts to connect Bluetooth and required me to purge the first setup and create a new one before it worked consistently. Once you set contacts in the app for alerts then each person is alerted within a few minutes of pressing the panic button. It also uses GPS to guide you to where the person in need is. However, they do need to be within Bluetooth range of their phone for it to work. So the GPS is tracking their phone location and then alerts you to how far away they are to you when the button is pressed.
