The rod came packaged in a hard tube which protected it well from any abuse it would have received being shipped USPS. Arrived in about 2 weeks. It was exactly as listed, brand new and no issues. I have not fished with it yet but I have 4 other Tsunami Airwaves that preform great and I have no drought this one will as well.

Piece of junk
On the second use the insert on the 4th guide from the top popped out and was lost in the surf. Cost $11 to have it replaced and am wondering when the rest will leave the rod.Nov, 2021 - More defects. Two guides on the top half broke (not the inserts - the guides themselves. Very thin, weak metal. I rarely use the rod and have never caught a fish with it, so overuse or misuse is not at play. Cost: $22 to replace them.

amazing rod.
I have purchased this rod at a local tackle shop in Manhattan. This rod is an amazing, it casts like a tomahawk. I've never felt tired. It handles striped bass and gorilla blues. Like a champ this rod is underpriced. It goes neck and neck with st Croix. And leading brands. Simply happy with this rod I love tsunami. I've also watched zeno hromin. Video he really likes this rod I agree with him.

Light rod, poor quality
I purchased the rod after reading various reviews in different fishing sites, the rod is very light and easy to cast, however, the windings began to unroll after 3 outings.I contacted the seller and they wanted nothing to do with me, i contacted the distributor and they gladly replaced it..i like the rod and i'm hoping that it will last a whole season, not very encouraged from what i have seen so far...
