Musiclily Pro R15T-01 6 inline 2-pins Guitar Locking Tuners Set Chrome

I build custom and custom order guitars and use a lot of Musiclily products. I have never been disappointed in their quality, performance, and value. The one time I had an issue, the problem was resolved immediately. These two pin-locking tuners fit Fender headstocks perfectly and perform every bit as well. Unless your specific need calls for a genuine Fender part, save your money and get these Musiclily tuners. One thing worth noting. For some reason, Indonesian made Squires use a different pin spacing than Fenders. Crazy that they would do this, but these tuners will NOT fit Asian made Squire guitars without drilling two new locating holes.

They stay in tune fairly well, but getting them tuned in the first place is not as easy as pricier tuners like hipshot tuners. But once they’re tuned, they hold. Better than some factory-installed tuners, but worse than top-quality brands. These sit right in the middle: decent, useable, but nothing impressive. Only thing to be aware of, is manufacturing tolerances. The pegs have some play in them.

I bought these for a Squier Strat Mini which had absolutely horrible tuners that didn’t do their job at all. I did have to drill new holes but it was worth the effort. The old holes didn’t align with any aftermarket tuners, thanks Squier! Now those holes are completely covered/invisible and the guitar has industry standard tuner mounting. The tuners themselves have been great. No issue with the locking aspect slipping. The knobs are a lot easier to turn and fine tune, and it keeps it’s tuning far longer than the old ones. Solid upgrade that didn’t cost more than the entire guitar (like the name brand ones would have).

I installed these on my 2014 Indonesian made Squier Affinity Stratocaster. The posts fit the original holes and no reaming was required. However, the two pins on the back of each tuner did not line up with the two small holes from the original tuners. So I had to use a small drill bit to make 12 shallow holes about 3-4 mm from the old holes. It was tedious work. But the tuners work wonderfully ! I am very happy with the smoothness of the gearing, as well as the positive locking mechanism that keeps the individual strings from slipping. Now my Surf based tremolo arm work is pitch perfect.

These locking tuners are drop-in replacements for Fender brand 2-pin tuners, both locking and non-locking. At less than half the "real thing" cost, they can be used to upgrade a non-locking Fender/Squier or on a new build. To date, they have installed easily and worked as expected on two new guitar builds of mine. I am reluctant to give them the "5-Star" ratings until I see how the hold up in the long term. But so far, no problems.

ロック用の背面ツマミは金属製で、質感も実際の機能も必要充分でした。 ペグ（＝ヘッド）の重量増が気になりましたが、全体にギヤボックスハウジングのサイズなどは微妙にノーマルに比べダウンサイジングされているようで、思ってたほどの重量増加はないようです。 弦は基本的にロック部分に応力が集中しないように、1巻分くらいはポストに巻いて1.5〜2巻程度にするのが安定するようです。 ただフェンダータイプで3・4弦部にストリングリテナー（テンションピン）が無いタイプだと、多めに巻いてテンションを稼ぐ必要がある＝結局相当数巻く必要が出るので、ロックペグを活かすにはストリングリテナーを追加した方がいいでしょうね。

Good sturdy easy fixings on great locking adjustment. Insttiment has stayed in tune for months.

Tengo una fender y son más grandes que los que lleva mi guitarra. Los encajes no están a la distancia de mi guitarra. Los he tenido que devolver, pero las clavijas en sí están bien para quien les sea compatible.
