Replacement Bulb for Stinger B1515-4 15 Watt Bug Killers UV15, FP15, TZ15 by Technical Precision

I have the Stinger Model UV15 that takes the B-1515 15W Bulbs. As you can see from my pictures, this replacement bulb is about a half centimeter longer than the Stinger Bulb. It doesn't fit in the Stinger UV15 housing. As you can see from my pictures, by bulb housing lid will not close with the replacement bulb but does close with the original OEM Stinger Bulb. I even ended up breaking the Stinger UV-15 housing lid clasp trying to force it to close with this bulb. If you have the Stinger UV15, stick with the Stinger Bulbs only as these replacement bulbs may electrically work (i.e., 15Watts, 4 electrical connector PINs, etc).,; HOWEVER, they are not an exact Form fit in the housing.

I needed to replace my bulb in my zapper. I received the new one and plugged it in and it didn't work. I could hear something loose in the bulb when I shook it. I contacted them asking for a refund because it was faulty. I would have been happy with a replacement. They sent me a return label that I have to pay to return the faulty bulb at my own expense. Not happy at all about this. It will cost me at least 2/3 my original cost to get a very small refund on a bulb that was not working. I would not order from this company again.

The product was as described, installation was extremely easy. The bulb only lasted about two weeks, in the exact location with the same environment as the original. The original lasted over two years and was on 24/7 during those two years. Disappointing.

Arrived with a sound that makes it seem broken on the inside. It doesn't work. Maybe shipping was rough,

I found it to be a little longer could not close door n after it was in for few hours the unit started to smoke so don't know if it was the bulb or the unit itself

Seems to work very well lights up ultraviolet mosquitoes get zapped but not enough of them I hope this last for the season

This light burned out within a week of being turned on... Buyer Beware....

Bulb in my bug zapper has been burned out for several years. Was glad to find this bulb on Amazon. It has been zapping bugs just fine!
