Nissin RAOH Ramen Noodle Soup, Umami Tonkotsu, 3.53 oz, green

This is the best pre-packaged ramen I've ever eaten. It/s not the salty, unsophisticated ramen I ate in school. I made it for my husband. He begged me to make it for him for dinner. YUP! no cleanup and fabulous broth. Highly recommend it!

This specific flavor i the green pack, is sesame seed. It comes with two packets of flavor. One is the white soup base and the second is a smaller of sesame seed oil. Cook the noodles in about the same time as regular nissin ramen, add in the soup base to a bowl with some of the hot water. Mix and then add in the ramen noodles and the sesame oil. The texture of these noodles are great. They are not fried noodles but clean and very similar in texture to linguini or spaghetti, if cooked firm and not mush, like some people mistakenly do to spaghetti or any pasta. Note, not exactly the same texture, just close enough.I recommend to anyone who likes sesame flavor in asian style foods. If you want non-fried ramen that cooks up great and smooth. Not recommended for children and I have no idea why someone would buy this kind of ramen for a child anyway. Sesame is a strong flavor and used in eastern cooking quite a bit.Do not purchase if you are used to and prefer fried noodle ramen that can be purchased at most local stores for much cheaper. Not recommended if you do not like soup bases and prefer salt flavor packets. This is not the usual ramen fare, but something different and a great change to mix it up a little.Cons:: Amazon does not seem to be able to keep this in stock. I have to really watch for it.

This stuff is ZERO spicy, as in at all. So keep that in mind. I cook two of these at a time for one meal, I use half of the powder and oil packets of the second on. I guess you can use all other both, but thats too much for my tastes. But 150% of the flavoring and the noodles from both make this hands down the best instant ramen I have had. I wish it was in stock more often.

If i could give less than 1, I would. I love these kinda things but it tasted like wok oil.

No complaints it's delicious, I do understand you don't want it to look like a blank bowl of Ramen with image's of ingredients not included, but besides that just add your own favorite toppings/fillers I use mushrooms and sometimes bacon.For the extra flavor.
