They gave us sans serif typefaces, the dot and the line in space and reminded us that God is in the details, as Mies Van Der Rohe said.

Beautiful book with almost unreadable text (size)
This is a beautiful and probably informative book with one glaring problem. The text size is so small as to be almost unreadable unless you have perfect vision. Even with good reading glasses I could not follow the text. Using the "E Scale" on a graphics arts ruler it looks like 6 pt type, which is kind of, I don't know. insulting (?) to a lot of people.I returned the Bauhaus book.[n the same Amazon order I received a Zizek volume (Verso) with 10 pt type which is about as small as readable for many of us.]PS. The Taschen website shows a 10 x 13 inch version of the same volume to be released soon...but for $80.
