Taytools 468686 2 Piece Expandable Miter Gauge Slot Jig and Fixture Hold Down Kit

I use these to make table saw jigs. They work great to hold things like feather boards into miterslots.

This is a terrific little product. It holds my feather tool in place securely and allows for quick adjustment. I plan on purchasing another for my other feather tool. I feel safer using my home-made feather tool while using my table saw. I got the pattern for the feather jig and the Slog Gauge source from Steve Ramsey on FB.

Don't expect vertical resistance but for attaching to a miter slot they work OK

I bought this kit to use with a feather board I bought that didn’t come with miter track hardware (which I didn’t realize at the time). The reason I bought this specific kit is because I looked closely at the photos of the bolts and I saw that they have a slight rib on them which makes them captive in the metal expansion bars. This rib does in fact do its job.

I used these for locking down a feather board I made for my table saw (Metabo). They worked perfect.

Purchased this item along with the Powertec version. The Powertec was way too loose so I returned it. This item was also loose in the miter slot and no amount of tighening would lock it down. I ended up keeping it but had to add a .15mm brass shim along one side of it's length with double sided tape and now it locks down fine.I know the vendor can't manufacture this to fit all miter slots for all saws, so I'll live with the shims. Seems it's made well enough for this use.

Perfect for a feather board.

This is a great hold down kit but the bolts are not 2-1/2" they are 1-1/2" be aware.
