So far so good
It works fine. It allows me to extend the socket a few inches downward! I'm using it because I have motion detector light bulbs for outside the house with the detectors at the bottom of the bulb. My light sconces have frosted glass. So the motion detector bulbs can't detect motion behind the frosted glass. They only stick out a little below the glass line. So for the bulb to activate, motion has to be really close. But by using the extenders, the motion detectors are below the frosted glass lines and have a wider range of detection.

Works great in can lights
Exactly what I wanted, looks great

Bulb extensions
Good quality. I had recess bulbs sockets under the soffit of my house. By using the extenders to get the bulbs down lower they make two or three times as much light.

They worked well for my needs
I have some high-powered LED bulbs that were nestled too-deep into ceiling eyeball fixtures and blocking their full potential. These extenders lifted the bulbs out of their enclosure and really let the bulbs shine brightly.

Cool light upgrade
Bought this for my flush mounted bathroom light so I could hang a lampshade from it. It functions as it should, super easy to install, great value for the money and hasn’t affected the light quality or color. Looks as it should and I would definitely it it again.

Works as described
Exactly what I was looking for. Works well in the recessed light fixture on my front porch to make the motion sensing light bulb more effective.

Although these are useful, they have electrical issues
Update 12/14/25 My strong engineering mindset motivates me to share a safety concern in using these handy lightbulb extenders. I use these extenders in my ceiling light fixtures with 60 watt incandescent lightbulbs because the traditional larger PAR type incandescent lightbulbs are no longer available in the U.S. I have had problems with these xtenders flickering after a few month’s use. I would unscrew the light bulb and screw it back in snuggly, but it would still flicker and the lightbulb would go out. I also noticed an electrical burning smell this time. Upon closer inspection, if you look at the picture, you can zoom in to see a black burnt mark underneath one screw. Another picture shows the electrical arcing that caused a black burnt mark. The screw base is secured with two TINY aluminum screws, but the center post is secured with a nut. I used a thin utility knife to scrape the black burnt powder off and discovered that the copper strands could not withstand the electrical current in how this socket is made. These extenders will probably be okay to use with LED lights because they do not require as much current, but from my observation these are not robust enough to take the heat of incandescent lightbulbs, even at 60 watts. I took two stars away for this safety issue. I use incandescent bulbs because they do not affect sleep patterns that LED bulbs blue light do. Original product review below: I used these 2 lightbulb socket extenders to extend my lightbulbs in my ceiling lights so that they would be flush with my ceiling. They are a good length to do this job. I have now purchased these is a six pack, which is a much better deal. I am using incandescent light bulbs that are no longer in the size and wattage I want due to government regulations. Even though incandescents use more electricity, using LED bulbs hurt my eyes and interfere with my sleep. These extenders allow me to use incandescent lightbulbs.
