Q: How does this look on a woman's arm?

It is bigger than my regular watch, which was exceptionally thin. It is definitely not as bulky as other fitness watches and smart watches out there. I believe myself to have dainty wrists and I don't feel odd wearing it. It is no wider than a larger female watch. It is about 1/2 inch thick at the top of the screen, but it hasn't really bothered me in the last few weeks (and it tapers down as well). I have posted photos of the watch on my wrist (which is about 6.1 inches in circumference) on my review (just look at customer photos down in reviews section) for an idea. If you work in a more formal setting (I do IT for an airline), you may want to look at the Charge and Charge HR which are a little less obvious.Nobody has said much about my surge. I think my boss asked me if I got a new watch and that was it.

Q: Will it count your steps when doing the elliptical or biking?

It counts flights of stairs for me- but I stand on the pedals up the hills. The software will show it as biking miles with average heart rate, calories burned, etc.

Q: what accessories does this come with

I also saw there was a dust protector being sold. I figured that it would come with, am I incorrect?

Q: What is "music control" mean? Can it control your ipod?

Hi Cris - Several compatible iOS devices let you use your Surge to pause and resume music that is playing on your device. Currently, iPods aren't supported. For a full list of compatible devices, check out: https://fitbit.com/devices. Hope this helps!
