First...received in good time with standard delivery. Both sets purchased look to be well made. I hooked them up by hand and they went on smoothly and securely. Excellent fit. No leaks when tested nor the several days since. Wire braiding seems strong and they are smooth to the touch and no stray bits of wire to stick you. Good price. Well satisfied.

this worked just as it was intended, they did send a wrench that would not fit.

comes with a free wrench to tighten them but spoiler alert it is the wrong size!

These hoses went on without issue and I would suggest you measure what you have because they do come in multiple lengths. They are guaranteed burst resistant, so that was a selling point. Once the hose is connected to either end by hand tightening use the wrench provided to tighten it another 1/4 turn and you will feel it is very snug. I installed these as a precaution on the old hoses which although stored with the washing machine for many years, I thought they should be replaced. The old washing machine hoses were at least 40 years old and not leaking, but I wanted to change the valves from the water lines coming into the laundry room for Ball-Valves at the same time so I fired the parts cannon and replaced anything in the water line that could have been worn and a potential problem later because I did not want to have to pull it all out again to replace a shoddy valve.. I did all the plumbing work myself and with all of the work and parts involved doing this job plus these hoses I would say it cost me less to do it myself than the cost of a phone call to an actual plumber. Somewhere around $135.00/No labor charge included because I never charge myself.
