Amazing invention.
Love love love these wheels.I installed them underneath a heavy wood shelves cabinet I built. They're easy to lower, move the cabinet around, then raise them up.A little pricey, but they're worth it. Would definitely buy again for another project.

Easy installation
I knew I needed something to be able to move my raise bed and these retractable wheels are it. I attached them to the outside leg using the enclosed template to screw then on installation was easy and they look great

Works amazing
Works amazing, very easy install. I would buy again. It would be a bit nicer to have a way to lock it into place. I sometimes find my self bumping into the latch and it popping up.

These casters work great for mobile 6-inch jointers and 13-inch planers
Floor-standing 6-inch jointers and 13-inch planers both need a base of nearly 2 ft x 2 ft. A handy lumber to use for a base is 5/4 (actual thickness = 1 inch) deck planking, which is heavy & strong yellow pine - and inexpensive. The 1-inch plank thickness works well with all the 1-inch #10 screws used. An 8 ft plank length is marginal, but they also come in 12 ft length (usually straight, but check). A 250 pound jointer can be outfitted with a base without ever having to lift it. Screw & glue a 3/4-inch thick x 1-inch or so wide runner along the inside bottom of two appropriate lengths (about 2 ft) of plank. Five 1.5-inch #6 or #8 screws should hold on their own if glue bond not strong. Tip the the jointer over until more than half of its housing length is resting on the two opposite runners. Use a rubber hammer to tap the two runners on their sides to keep containment, and tap them length-wise until they line up at each end ready to have the front & rear planks attached. Use 4 heavy gauge outside corner braces needing six 1-inch #10 wood or sheet metal screws each. If you mount the bottom of the caster wheel plate 1.75 above the frame bottom, the frame will clear the floor by 3/4-inch with wheels down, and rest solidly on its own legs with wheels up. (Keep focused on which way is up for the caster frames.). Be sure to leave a little room near the runner endpoints so that the jointer legs can reach through to the floor when wheels are up. The operation of lowering and raising the wheels is reasonably easy. The caster wheel assemblies come with everything needed, complete with lock washers and 24 1-inch #10 screws. Great product!A planer stand can be built with 2x3 legs, a 3/4-inch plywood top on a standard 1x4-inch board top frame, and the same 1-inch planking bottom frame. Screws of appropriate length can be used to secure the 2x3's to the upper and lower frames There are many mating surfaces in such a stand, and these can be glued & screwed to give strong stability with wheels up.

Perfect on our wood table saw

Good Heavy duty working product.
I put these on a pretty big work bench that I built. I had a cabinet on top of the work table, plus the bottom shelf full of supplies and a lathe, and they worked just fine. Definitely reccommend

Very handy and works great
I have a large workbench that I mounted several wood working tools on, these let me move the workbench around with easeI really like the fact that I didn't have to cut the legs to put wheels on it.

Wheels are annoying to properly tighten
The media could not be loaded. The wheels are difficult to tighten to the nuts through the lever plate because the hex on the wheel stud is too short. That creates a lack of space between the 14mm hex on the wheel and the lever frame to tighten the 17mm wheel nut properly.I added metric hex nuts on all the threaded wheel studs to increase the gap so I could a real wrench on the nut on top and the threaded stud on the wheel below. I had the nuts in my shop, they are not included. The supplied wrench is trash. You need 2 wrenches. A thin 14mm and regular 17mm open end wrench or shallow socket. You could sand the 14mm supplied wrench down to the proper thickness on a belt sander. But that’s really annoying.I pre-drilled the solid oak leg on my bench with a 5/32 drill bit and used bar soap to lube the supplied screws. A longer Phillips bit on a drill driver is quick. When I got the wheels installed they worked OK but I really have to push down hard on the lever with my foot to drop the wheel. I greased the levers and it helped. My oak bench weighs about 150 pounds so the 600 pound rating seems optimistic.I saw a 1 star review that mentioned the difficulty with the wheel installation I mentioned and I’m a very experienced DIY person and I had the same issue. Maybe it’s just a bad batch of wheels.Hope this helps!
