Natracare 2002 Organic All Cotton Tampons 20 Count

After I learned the truth behind major mass market female hygiene product producers, I will never ever buy non organic cotton tampons ever again. This is a real shame that an industry that produces products of such intimate and personal nature is at the same time one of the most obscure and sinister. I'm sorry to be so graphic but to me it is the same thing as taking a spoonful of pesticides and putting it in your mouth and keeping it there for a couple of hours. Would you do that? Probably not. You know it's not safe. Same here. Don't put anything that is bad for you inside your body. You might be doing ok now, but there is a chance that those mass market tampons are affecting your body and you don't even know it. The cotton they use is sprayed with the worst chemicals you can imagine. Treat yourself well, treat this planet well, buy organic products whenever you can. Quality-wise there is no difference. I love this brand and works excellent for me.

I've been using a menstrual cup for several months now. While I like it, it's no match for my heavy flow day. I didn't want to go back to traditional tampons after learning about all the chemicals they put in them so I thought I'd give these a try. They worked perfectly! They stood up to my heaviest flow day, even through an hour long yoga class. I also liked the applicator free design so there is less waste. I thought they were easy to use and worked extremely well.

Organic materials give peace of mind and functions just as good as non organic version. I do Wish they had an "ultra" sized equivalent for ultra heavy days. I was happy with the functionality and will definitely buy again..

I love that these are organic, but I had issues with insertion. The only way I could successfully insert them was by pushing the tampon through the applicator about 2 cm prior to insertion. Also, the cotton came apart once inside, so I had small bits of cotton floating around inside me - kinda terrifying.

No harsh chemicals! Absorbency is great, too.

Natracare applicator-free tampons are 100% biodegradable, so they are compatible with composting toilets. (Unlike o.b., which have a square of polyester on them).

I felt great about the ingredients in these, but they leaked like crazy! I would find that it was leaking, and when I would go to pull it out, there was hardly any blood on the tampon?! Plus I thought I was buying the ones with the applicators, when indeed these were not! Oh well, it was worth trying!

Amazing! First time I have used a tampon that didn't cause painful cramping. No harsh chemicals! Absorbency is great, too.
