This is my second time using an Ernest dotted journal. I initially wanted rainbow order, but I'm just going with whatever color feels right these days.Being a writer, bleeding isn't much of an issue for me so much as feeling the pen shapes on the other page is, as was the issue with the Leuchtturm. I like being able to do whatever I want with my BuJo, including creating my own table of contents/index.If you use heavy markers, like blending or artist markers, of course they're going to bleed. It's paper. Find a cardboard journal if you want paper to NOT behave like paper??I use a LOT of Zebra Midliner ink on my monthly spreads, and I experience little bleeding. Attached is an image of March's spread, which has little bleeding visibility from February. I use .07 ink, so it glides. The bleeding isn't awful for anything, so I'm not bothered by it.There are plenty of pages in these journals to do what you want with them. I love customizing the outside of the pages with a bunch of color. Helps the mood come together.I have bought 3 Ernest journals. I'll be buying a fourth for 2023. I've considered using others, especially for the outside decoration, but Ernest notebooks have more pages and I love how they take up the same amount of space on the shelf.

I got this bullet journal as a gift for my boyfriend and I'm currently working on filling in all the pages and there are so many which is great cause I write so much. On top of that, it comes with the cute string markers to indicate what page you're on and also came with various colored dot stickers that you can use. Overall, I really like this journal and its so sturdy

Just what I needed. Multi page dot journal, minimal ghosting, detachable pages in the back, and a pocket for small items like appointment cards until I get them recorded.

I ordered 3 different bullet journal-type of books from a variety on amazon. This one is my favorite. Sturdy and looks like the binding will hold well. It's a good size. Has good colors to choose from, good paper quality. A pocket in the back. Plenty of pages in it. This will be my made into my 2020 planner. I'm excited to use it. I love that it comes with either dots, lines or blank pages. I got dotted pages this time.If I created a blank journal/bullet journal book, the only thing I would do differently is not put the brand name ERNEST indented into the front of it. I'd put it smaller in the bottom corner or inside, so it looks like a brand name instead of something that I custom ordered right smack in the front of it. Otherwise, I love it.

It's a really nice quality journal, pages aren't too thin for marker type pens, good binding, nice quality elastic closure and nice quality folio in the back. The last few pages are perforated to tear which is nice for versatility. Over all great journal, biggest downside was probably the non-numbered pages but honestly not a deal breaker for me.

I really like this journal! It is easily the equal of several I have used in the past at one and a half times the price. Sewn binding, sturdy cover, two ribbon bookmarks, a back cover pocket, various and sundry stickers, page markers, and a nameplate. It also has more than the typical number of pages, and (for me) the line height is ideal. Of course, I tend to write in a relatively compact style, and don't like composition book style line heights. First time I've ever used the dot form, instead of actual lines, and I find I like that as well. I have no trouble writing as if there were lines, but when I want to diagram or sketch something, its easier and cleaner to do. All in all, I think I've found my new preferred notebook/journal!

My name is Ernest and when i saw an Ernest notebook? How could i not give it a try.For the price this notebook feels nearly on par with many more expensive similar notebooks. If you use marker the pages will likely have bleed through but with ball point, i have no bleed through issue and at 250+ pages i will have it for a while.

Present for my son who says it’s a good journal.
