Great Eastern Toradora 8" Tenori Tiger Plush

The real question is why aren't there more toys from Toradora? I guess most anime series have spoiled us with all the goodies that this one seems lacking. Toradora is a timeless "slice of life series" that I hold dear to my heart. My wife does not like most anime, but this one is special. She is so much like Taiga, sloppy, klutzy, tiny, and grumpy. I am a neat freak, nothing near Ryuji levels, but I cook most of the meals and often get treated like a dog. Simply put, we can easily relate to the characters at times. So I bought this plush for my wife, and it is as cute as it is in the pictures. I had considered buying it for her several times in the past few years, but always got sidetracked by other purchases. Finally, I pulled it out of my save for later list and ordered it. She opened the box, squealed with glee, and disappeared under a blanket with it. Exactly the reaction I expected. If you have a Taiga in your life, get this for them, they won't thank you for it, but they will love it, and that's what it's really all about, making them happy.

So cute! I love this anime and when I went on a recent trip to Japan I was keeping an eye out for this plushie or anything Toradora related in Akihabara. Sadly I found nothing while I was there, which was understandable but still disappointing. When I got back to The States, I was excited to find that this plushie was on Amazon! It is very plush and very cute! The only thing I would have to say that I don't like is that the plushie is a bit bigger than I expected. Definitely not Palmtop Tiger size as in it doesn't fit in one palm but in both. Regardless, I still really like this product and would recommend it to any Toradora fan🐯

I bought this for my Fiance before I proposed (I was already planning on it.)She loves it!Her niece also loves it and keeps stealing it from her. It's held up to a three year old playing with it, so it seems to be made well enough.It's a bit smaller than I was expecting, but it's cute and a memento of the first anime I shared with her. So it does what I wanted it to.

For a product from Japan arrived very quickly and still with free shipping! My daughter is very familiar with this characterture and at age 16 Love's collectibles. Stands perfect on own! Quality is even better than it looks

Everyone I know thinks it is adorable, even if they don't know what it is. Although her head is kinda heavy, it's not hard to balance and keep her standing on four legs :)

Well made and super cute. A fantastic piece of licensed Toradora memorabilia. Given the size of the head, it should come as no surprise that it's a little front heavy, but with a little playing with the legs it sits properly on my shelf without additional support.As for the smallest of gripes, it is a bit big to be literally "palmtop". I have a Chinese knock-off that is precisely the right size, but I like the larger and officially licensed product more. Finally, I would have liked the whiskers to be loose wire/plastic, instead they are cloth glued/sewn to the face. Despite this, these are minor issues and the product is worth more than 5 starts.

.....war einer meiner ersten Animes und ist bis heute noch einer meiner Lieblinge. Es ist schade das es die Staffel nicht in Deutschland (und sei es auch nur mit englischen Untertiteln) gibt. Als Fan wollte ich gerne etwas (Fanprodukte) von der schönen Serie haben. Und siehe da ich bin auf den aus der Serie bekannten Palmtop Tiger gestoßen. Zuerst hatte ich ihn auf Amazon-uk gesehen, doch um aus Deutschland auf der Seite zu Zahlen benötigt man entweder Kreditkarte oder eine Geschenkkarte aus UK. Danke Amazon für diese schlechte handhabung!Nun gut, nach diversen anderen englischen onlineshops habe ich ihn mir nun doch beim deutschen Amazon bestellt, wenn auch für einen viel höheren Preis als auf der UK Seite (Nochmals Danke Amazon)Der kleine Plushtiger ist wirklich putzig. enspricht der Abbildung und wirkt sehr stabil. Bei mir wird er im Schrank stehen also kann ich nicht sagen wie belastbar er ist.An sich ein tolles Plushtier!

Overall build feels like felt. It's stuffed pretty rigidly too, giving it a rather stiff feel. You can still squeeze down on it without any problems and the stitching seems fine but the material leaves something to be desired (Only says polyester fiber stuffing as the materials on the tag). My biggest gripe is that the eyebrows are asymmetrical by a large degree. The left one, has it's inward inflection a good 1-2cm away from the nose, while the right is directly on top the nose. It just looks weird as everything else is pretty much mirrored but this is done in such an exaggerated fashion. Another thing that really detracts from this design is the lack of the two bottom teeth. Not a deal breaker or anything, just something that might sway you if you're enthusiastic about those things.All that said, the doll is for a two-year-old and should fill its role admirably. Decent buy if you're looking for a cute tiger, but nagging issues if you're a Toradora fan. I'd personally buy a different build if I was into collecting stuffed toys.
