Excellent sharpness for text and vibrant color
I'm quite impressed at the screen quality of this monitor. The color is vibrant, and text is sharp and clear. While some may say that a 32" monitor needs 4k resolution, there is no need to jump to 4k if the screen quality is high enough, as this one is. The stand is rather funky, and the monitor sits higher than I would like, and the other thing is that navigating the UI with the multiple buttons on the side is a pain, since you have to look at the OSD to determine whether the button is scrolling to the side or vertically. But for the price, it's hard to beat the screen image quality, which is what really matters most.

This monitor works very well. It looks new and I doubt that it has really been used much.one minor precaution: I was using the VGA analog connection with my prior monitor and was not able to achieve full resolution without going to an HDMI digital connection. This required that I replace a KVM switch because I have 2 computers using the same monitor. With the new KVM switch that supports HDMI, all is well.

Simple
This has 1 HDMI, 1 Video and 1 D-sub. Very simple but I feel I need 2 HDMI.and side button are same size same feeling. I think Power button has different than others because we can t see from front what button is.Stylish and pictures are good enough.

Great monitor for the money
Use these monitors for productivity as a primary and also for some gaming.Provides all the functionality I was looking for at a great value. This is a 75Hz monitor, so may not be for the hardcore gamer, but was all I needed.

Did not work
supposedly this was a renewed monitor. Tried it with multiple computers. Never would show any picture. On power up most ACER monitors show a logo...this one had no logo. The menu buttons would not show the menu. Defective from the moment I took it out of the box. Someone else will get this after they 'renew' it again. Thankfully with Amazon returning it is free and easy.

The screen itself is very fragile, poor UI/button design
In general this is monitor is just okay. Function-wise it does its job -- It has a clear, crisp display with good color, good contrast, and good response time, but it has one MAJOR design flaw:It's VERY easy to damage. These monitors are unreasonably fragile.* The matte, anti-glare coating on the outer surface isn't nearly as tough as it should be, so scratches and chips will soon appear.* The LCD itself is so delicate that one good smack and you'll probably end up looking for a new monitor. I don't mean hitting it hard, I'm talking about something as innocuous as swatting an insect. Yes, seriously. I damaged one of my two ET2's merely by swatting a fly with a common fly swatter, and with no more force than one would normally apply to that, leaving a small blot of dead pixels about 1x2 mm. In a past incident with another ET2, a plastic spatula bounced off my desk and hit the screen just the wrong way, leaving damage resembling a bullet strike. The kind of force that even the chintziest window glass would still tolerate is enough to damage this model, and is what prompted me to finally write this review.Secondary to that are the control buttons: they're on the back, toward one side, making them hard to reach if you have a lot of clutter around the monitor (or if you have two monitors sitting side-by-side), and they have no bumps or ridges or anything else on them that could give you some idea of which button your finger's resting on, making the menus hard to use. Finally, the height is not adjustable. That's fine for most people, but if you have some special need that would be served by a height adjustment, or if you're just picky about having all your screens line-up nicely, this can be an irritant. At the time of this writing, this model was out of stock on Amazon, but in the event that it becomes available again, I do not recommend buying it unless the price comes down a lot (mine was just a hair over $200), or if you intend to use it in an environment where it will never be touched. For home use, get something more durable.EDIT, 2023-10-28:A few months after writing this review, that blot of dead pixels somehow fixed itself almost entirely, right out of the blue. For months, it's just there, then one day I find it has gone and all of the pixels in the affected area simply started working again. For another month or so after that, there was a very slight darkening of the affected area, but even that's gone now. All that remains i a mark resembling a very fine hair or scratch, which I assume is a hairline crack in the surface, and it's hard to spot if you don't know to look for it. That "scratch" aside, it's as if nothing ever happened. All I can figure is that the original impact forced some of the actual liquid crystal substance out of its normal spot, which eventually found its way back after some time, perhaps from heating and cooling as the monitor has cycled off and on during normal use in that time.Sure, a single dead sub-pixel here or there can sometimes fix itself, but more often than not, that usually requires deliberate, mechanical efforts to restore it. I've never heard of anything of this scale happening spontaneously. All of my other, previous remarks stand, however.
