Chefsman anti overflow Belgium waffle iron
What I like about this is as easy to use I thought this was just a plain old waffle maker once I received it I realized it was for making big fluffy Belgian waffles as I'm not a waffle connoisseur I had no idea what that meant when I read it in the reviews anyway the end result is. This thing rocks for making new recipes you can literally break an egg in the middle of a piece of toast and and add onion bacon or whatever your favorite ingredients are I would suggest a donut cutter for taking out the middle of the bread anyway slap that lid down and have a egg sandwich perfect for lunches or breakfast or a quick dinner it's unlimited as to what you can use this for I've been using coconut oil to keep stuff from sticking it works well when I clean it I use paper towels rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle to get the grease out of it and clean the outside and then I have another spray bottle full of purified water that I spray on it to remove any residue that the alcohol may leave on the surface. I would recommend buying one of these and go crazy with it make all kinds of stuff not just waffles make sure you oil the surface before you cook anything each time you put a new whatever into it make sure you oil it have fun.

Works great, mom loves it!
Bought this as a present for my mom's birthday and she loves it... she's already tried it out and said it worked beautifully. She likes that it has a smaller footprint than her previous regular waffle iron.

Veni,Vidi,Vici. Bought it, used it, loved it.
It really means "I came, I saw, I conquered" But in this case it's just about the same thing. Yes, another glowing positive review. Read and follow the instructions and you will conquer the art of making delicious waffles. Perfect waffles, no cleanup. I've had it for about three weeks and no problems at all. Nothing sticks to it, not even chocolate chips. Temperature control is perfect. The range goes from light to crispy in only 1 cycle. No need to wait for another cycle to get nice, crispy waffles. I love it and have no complaints. Yes, measuring cup and overflow is great too. Inside and outside finish is excellent. The red one is beautiful and as far as I can see is only available on Amazon.

Nice waffles, convenient storage, awkward and danger of burns when opening hot unit
I've had this for a few weeks and made waffles about once a week. Unit stays clean, the cord length is sufficient for my kitchen counter and the cord wraps around provided prongs and the unit stands on end for easy storage. I don't use the provided cup but just use a spoon to fill about 2/3 of the grid area with my batter. Most times my waffles come out looking nice and there is no overflow. When too much batter is added, it mostly spills into the provided catch groove and cooks there as well. The only issue so far is that when waffles are done, the top will always stick to the waffle at least a bit, so it requires some effort to lift the lid. You can release the catch with one hand, but then there's no easy way to firmly hold the bottom in place while you apply force to lift the lid. And the whole area where you are doing this is hot. I usually wind up using a plastic fork or spatula to press down on the bottom side of the unit while giving the lid some quick jerks to get it separated from the waffle. Then you'll need some kind of plastic utensil to extricate your waffle, usually from the bottom plate. So far, I've seen no problem with the unit heating up quickly or completely cooking the waffles. The "ready" /"cooked" light is small and, under bright lighting, it's not always easy to tell if it is on or off. But that seems to be a problem with all waffle makers since the beginning of time!

Very well-made waffle iron
Very well made waffle iron. I used it almost every day with some protein waffles.

Perfect little maker
Perfect size for individual waffles and fast enough when you're cooking for two, if you couldn't get a head start on building a stack before your partner sat down to join you! Pros: Compact; indicator lights that turns to green when done but most importantly, a walk away safety that turns down to standby a minute or so later after "ready" if you don't open it so you won't burn your waffle. (Yeah, that happened) A darkness selection setting is much appreciated; a measuring cup comes included, thank you very much! And a cord wrap underneath so it fits anywhere neatly. Cons: indicator red light for power "on" but didn't appear to switch to green when the iron was hot enough to start between batches. Maybe it does but I was too impatient to notice. My old one was huge and big enough to make 4 at a time (squares) which was great when I had a tribe at the table but downsizing I donated it and upgraded. It had an indicator light that turned red when preheating, green light when the iron was hot enough to begin and a yellow light when the waffle was done. However, that one wasn't non-stick and didn't power down if you didn't get back to it after it was ready. My son burnt a waffle or two in his teen years... each generation has its challenges. Overall 5 star👍

Waffle maker review
This is a great waffle maker. It makes a waffle about eight inches round an around one half in thick. If you coat the surfaces with a little oil before each waffle they do not stick and come out perfect once you figure out how much batter to use. Although it gets hot, it is easy to open without getting burnt fingers. After you make the first waffle it only takes a minute to make the next one. The lights are a tad hard to see unless you are looking down on them but if you listen you can hear the heating element click off indicating the waffle is ready. Clean up is easy as you just wipe it out let it cool and store for the next time. Overall I would say if you are a waffle fan this waffle maker is a good buy

Heats up quickly, and does a wonderful job!
What a great little machine!!!! When it arrived, I removed the plastic protector between the plates that is used to prevent rubbing when in transit. I wiped down the interior and then put the protector back. Big mistake! For those of you with a working brain, remove the plastic film and if desired replace it with an old towel or micro-cloth when storing the unit. As I was saying, remove the plastic before heating the unit. I forgot that the plastic was there, since it does not stick out. I opened the unit to add the batter, and it looked like a spider web inside. I left it open to go cold, and then wiped out the plastic webs. No, it did not damage the plates. They are non-stick and did their job. I then added batter. I have a recipe for a single waffle. Guess what! It can make about one and a half waffles. I could hear a squeaking sound coming from the unit. Batter was oozing out the sides. The overflow groove can only handle so much. I cleaned the counter, and waited for my waffle to finish cooking. It tasted wonderful. After another complete cool down I wiped off the outside of the unit. It heats up quickly and cooks quickly, wonderful unit.

Solid waffle maker - not Belgium thickness
Attractive looking appliance but paid a premium for the red colour. This is a solid unit that uses a lot of batter to make 2 good tasting waffles. However despite the flavour, the true thickness of the Belgium waffle isn't there.

Works great!!
Used this for the first time last night and I was very happy with the result! When they say non stick they really mean it! I didn't have to spray any oil before putting in my batter and they just came right off when done without leaving any trace. I found setting it to 4 for 5 minutes made perfect waffles that were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The measuring cup that came with it was an added bonus and I found one full scoop worked great with minimal overflow and the little mote to catch the excess worked really well too and bonus that its red which is my favorite colour and the colour scheme to my whole apartment. I would definitely recommend!!

Chefman Begian Waffle Maker....No fail waffles!
This Chefman Belgian Waffle maker is nice looking on the countertop and also easy to store. It's very simple to use. I expected the first waffle to be a flop, but I was surprised. My first batch was perfect aside from adjusting the batter quantity. It has a non stick coating that works! Nothing to the clean up, other than brushing away some crumbs.
