Dell V305 All-in-One Printer

I had a V305 printer for several years before it wore out. Wanted another. It took longer to unpack the new printer than it did to hook it up & start printing. Color is great. Easy to use. Will get a few good years out of this one. So glad I found the same printer.

Update: I've had this product for the last 3 years now and it still works to my satisfaction.Dell included this printer with a laptop purchase I made a while back, so I received this for free. Can't complain about that.Although this is supposed to be an "all-in-one", the product doesn't fax. However, the product prints, copies, and scans. The quality of prints, copies, and scans is very good. Copying does take a little long, but still beats the time and effort I would have to put into going somewhere else to get a copy done.Yes, I concur with other posts, the printer alerts to replace the cartridges pretty much after printing 10 pages, yet...I just don't replace it until the print quality is visibly bad (streaks, etc). I do that with all of the printers I have in my house, by the way. Why let a machine tell me to exchange something that still works?Scanned documents can be converted to PDF format, or kept as JPEG images.The program that comes with the printer also has a couple of other features, such as printing calendars, resizing images, and editing images.The product allows the user to insert memory cards directly into slots on the product. Different memory cards fit into the slots, such as SD, MS, xD, MMC, CF, and MD.I am happy with this product the way it is, however, I am only a "casual" user. I don't need professional print quality, or use this product every day.

The Printer arrived at our home broken! The printer will not work. We have notified the dealer. After 4 weeks, it has not been replaced.

I have had this printer for about 3 years now, it's the most frustrating thing to work , But as you do I put up with it as it was working and I could get round it's poor interface,and even though The dell ink cartridges don't last long,I didn't mind as I then bought ink and refilled the original dell ones which worked out better. ,However the dreaded ink cartridge error message has now appeared .I have looked up this problem on the web and it's frankly ridiculous as it seems everyone gets this message at sometime when using this particular dell product.The bottom line according to Dell is you can't fix it without buying an original Dell replacement cartridge . Which doesn't guarantee it won't happen again though it does fill Dell's coffers .The Dell colour cartridge is £30.00 inc postage. A new equivalent printer from another manufacturer ie; Canon, Epson etc.. is £35.00 ish Mmmmmmm Lets see..................through greed and stupidity they must have lost thousands of repeat customers due to this short sightedness .Good marketing dell.

This used printer was purchased from a private party on the East Coast. It wasn't properly packed that the unit must have received a lot of vibration from such a long distance to the West Coast. The ink from the color cartridge leaked. Replaced the cartridge but the unit will not work.If anything probably I should have given it one or two stars but maybe the unit can still be made to work.

replaces an identical one the I broke the cartdridge loader. Works great was very pleased hooked up in no time.

Like this printer very much. Use it alot in my classroom.

I have no problem with anything regarding this printer. It prints, it scans, it copies, all seemlessly. I don't know if I am the only one on the planet who got one that works the way it was meant to, but it is what it is. I don't even have an issue with how much ink it uses. I change my black and color ink cartriges once a year probably, with daily printing of at least 2 pages, often more. I can't understand all the negative reviews, but I guess somehow I just got a good one.
