Main Purpose: I purchased this drying rack to hang clothes in my small laundry room. Ease of Use: The rack is very easy to use and conveniently stows away when not in use. Mounting it to a solid foundation on the wall is crucial for stability. If using anchors, heavy-duty ones from a hardware store are recommended. Performance: The rack is durable, strong, and stands out for its build quality. Mounting it to a 2x4 section or creating a wooden plate for attachment is ideal. The extension pulls out smoothly, and there's an option to prevent arm sagging by attaching it to a hook on the opposite wall. Value for Money: This was an excellent purchase. After researching and visually comparing other models on Amazon, the Bakala Wall Mounted Drying Rack emerged as the clear winner. Unlike other models, it shows minimal sagging, and any slight issues can likely be addressed by tightening the upper arm bolt. Comparisons: This is my first experience with this type of drying rack, and it has exceeded expectations. Best $ I ever spent! Why didn’t I buy this when I bought my house? I’d forgotten instructions were posted on the item description and felt relieved to see it was so simple and fast to install! I needed a hand to keep it level when screwing it into the wall and it took us 24 minutes start to finish. I’ve been doing laundry, so immediately filled it up with work clothes to dry, I bought the dark one and it looks great, is very heavy and seems a quality piece. At first we thought we’d like more rings to hold clothes, but I like the space my clothes have as they’re dryinh now. No complaints. Good price, good product, durable, easy to use! I hope the inventor can retire in luxury! Here’s an update: we use this daily and it’s been loaded completely and then extended all the way and loaded all the way. It folds perfectly right against the wall when not in use. I wish I’d know about this when we were planning our laundry room. I have no idea why anyone would not be able to open this. It extends so many different ways and is so flexible and sturdy even loaded with heavy wet clothes were air-drying. It’s made laundry so much easier Update: added photos today when I cleared it off to do laundry.

As an engineer, I was skeptical. A moment arm of nearly 5 feet and anchored to the wall with a baring plate of only 8 inches. Wife loved the design, but I had my doubts. The packaging was superior and snuggle custom foam cuts. The finish is excellent. The design is straight forward and you DEFINITELY need to mount this to a stud! If you are going to use this in new construction, be sure to install blockers between the studs in the laundry room, bath, or where ever you want to install this. I had to find a stud and be sure to was centered over it. This was really the only limitation. I chose a stud that allowed the rack to fold against the wall between a door and cabinet. The install is clean and very sturdy. I tested it hanging a 20# weight with is rack full extended and there was noticeable deflection but the rack mount felt solid so was confident it could easily handle wet coats, jeans and any other heavy item. Definitely buy again.

My husband and I just installed this drying arm into our laundry room. It’s very thick and “industrial” and quite heavy. You must install this onto a stud. Unfortunately the mount itself has fairly spread out mounting holes that make you install on the outer edges of the stud. I recommend you drill them in at an angle to anker into the stud better. If you install this into the drywall IT WILL FALL OFF. I am not sure why but they do include drywall screws. Maybe for people who opt to have half of the screws in the drywall and the other half in a stud? That may be “okay” but you absolutely need a portion of this mounted to the drywall. The tabs that can hold hangers themselves are also metal - for the record. They seem incredibly sturdy and I intend to use them for hanging up clothes. Now the 4 stars is because the arm itself default sags. It does not stay tight to the bracket. So far the arm stays in place, wherever we move it to, but I work this sagging can eventually cause the arm to move around. We have not been successful in tightening it. I did provide a video of the sagging.

I LOVE this product! I recently remodeled my house, which included downsizing my laundry room. I needed a space to hang my "delicates" and the things I do not dry in the dryer. This item is PERFECT! I offers lots of hanging space, but folds flush to the wall when not in use-perfect for my smaller laundry room. I looked at several similar items, but this one is the sturdiest and most functional. And it looks good in my space. Thanks for producing this!

Love my new clothing drying rack! We were able to attach it to a stud and it's extremely sturdy. When I pull clothes from my washer or dryer, it is so easy to use to hang wet clothes that I don't dry in the dryer or hang things as I pull them out of the dryer. When done, simply move the arm back into washer/dryer area and shut the door - looks amazing but extremely functional!!

I absolutely love this. I was tired of my utility room hanging with clothes everywhere. Did some research on Amazon almost went with the cheap $35 one and decided to splurge on this. Very well built, can swivel forwards and backwards. I like that where you put the hanger also swivels. Does not sag when extended and full of heavy clothes like hoodies, jeans and wet towels. Folds up and is out of the way when finished. Mine is in studs by the door frame. I would highly recommend this product. Well-designed , well built.

I have a brand new house and this clothes drying rack is the one thing I demonstrate to EVERY person that tours my home. My laundry isn’t huge and I hang all of my work clothes to dry for longevity and beauty. I knew I needed something sturdy and practical and was willing to pay the price for quality. This is it! I’m married to a handyman so I can’t attest to ease of installation. I know he ended up making sure it went into a stud instead of mollies in the drywall but I don’t believe it was difficult. Plus we know it’s not going anywhere if it gets bumped. I wouldn’t hang a sack of potatoes from it but I’ve had every loop filled with no issues.

I love this! Updated my laundry room and it’s a perfect addition. Holds a lot of weight and tucks away nicely when not in use. I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality. Arrived packaged very securely in the box. Easy installation. I did it myself.

This is a well made product, great for small spaces, you can actually fold it to the wall with clothes hung on it too. I love that you can tuck it away when you're not using it, and barely notice it's even there. Have had zero issues and installed it about 8 months ago.
