3M Roloc Disc Pad Assembly 05540, 3 in, Quick Change, Durable Backup Pad

For anyone who owns an angle die grinder, this is the adapter you'll need to hold those 3 inch diameter 3M Roloc discs. This is a very simple, well-made, over-priced (3M right?) adapter that fits all 1/4 inch angle die grinders. It does an amazing job at holding 3 inch diameter 3M Roloc discs. Easy on. Easy off. It's stiff enough without being too stiff. This is a durable workhorse system designed for hours of use all day long. 3M Roloc is the way to go and this is the adapter that will get you where you want to be with those spin on/off Roloc discs. Buy it once. Use it thousands of times. Stay well.

Rather "Pricy" but at least you know it will fit. At this price I devote a separate drawer to this as well as the 3M brake lug cleaning tool and its hollow (designed to fit over lugs) 3M part. Just allow the tool to do the work. I have used a "Roloc" to clean up the wheel (alloy or steel) to make sure the wheel lies flat against the "hub" or new rotor or drum. Prevents comebacks, and uneven wear to pads or shoes. Needed since "corrosion and dissimilar metals are here to stay".

They don’t make them as strong as they used to but they serve the purpose, perfect for an angle grinder.

The Roloc disk pad system works great for using your die grinder as a mini sander.I purchased this pad holder and some one-third-the-price knockoff versions and the 3M version is worth the extra money. The knockoff versions were usually somewhat warped and didn't always hold the abrasive pads as firmly. Also, the 3M version comes in completely recyclable packaging.

Another quality product from 3M. Great value for the price. Works and stands up to heavy use and abuse. Recommend this item.

Great product and service

These pads will fly of the stud unless you put a star washer on the stud 1/4-20. Still haven't found where one of them went in the shop, lol.
