Philips SHM1900/00 Over-Ear Headphones

I got this for rs.444 which is quite a steal deal for this good quality branded headphone. If you are upgrading from cheap 250rs headphones from smaller makes like me then you will find this headphone really good.Good points:1. Cable and jack quality is fine, made to cost but better than cheap brands.2. Headphone plastic quality is excellent.3. Sound quality is good, adequate bass and clear mids for enjoying music.4. cable length is good, not too long and not too short.5. Mic works good in skype calls.6. It has no inline volume control. And yes it a plus point. Those things are useless and if it was present I would solder it and make it direct anyway. They go bad after sometime and cause noise in the headphone.Not so good points1. Since these headphones have wires coming out from both the sides, I noticed that both of them are not joined together at equal length which is not a problem but still a QC issue.2. Ever heard a deaf person speaking? They speak in loud volume because they cannot hear themselves to adjust their volume, same thing happens when I am on skype with this headphone as I cannot hear myself because these over the ear headphone cancel outside sound very well. However there is a setting in windows which will allow some sound from Mic to reach headphone which should be used while doing voice calls otherwise you will speak like a deaf person and annoy the person on other end.3. Slight discomfort after wearing for long time (say you watched a movie in one go).Amazon was quick in shipping my order however they used Bluedart courier service which happens to be pathetic in my city. They never deliver at my address and I have to reach their office to collect my item.

Best at this price range. I bought this headset from amazon for the only reason of low price. But here there is no description about the warranty, I searched for about 20 minutes to find any information about the warranty of this product and I hope its not hiding anywhere away from my vision. I request amazon to make default properties and ask the sellers to enter the details which should be verified by amazon. I feel like buying from a bazaar where we usually don't believe in warranties even if they provide one.Coming to the product, its sound quality, Bass and all other sound related properties are good. It do produce heat, most over the ear head phones produce heat. It looks big in your ears, that ok. Actually I returned this item for the reason, there is no inline volume controller in the product but the description mentioned that it has one. But after a good scout I found it is not that important I decided to buy this again.

overall the product was amazing but the concern is the mic because the mic is not steady and fixed at a place .i have used the zebronics Zeb envy over ear in that the mic was steady and flexy. if are going to buy keep in the mind the mic has a problem

Well,I am using this product from the past 15 days and I have to say I LOVE IT!I didn't expect this kind of performance from a headset which is barely 500 INR.The only part I don't like in this is it's HEAD BAND.After wearing this for approximately 3 hours I noticed that the headband got a bit of flexed.And also the headband is a bit weak and got a lot of flex init!Coming to the MICs performance, it's good and you can say best when compared to other headsets in the similar price range.I expected a bit more better mic performance from Philips but later I convinced that this is what we can get for 500 INR.The CUSHION around the ears is a great experience and feels a lot softer too.This can be used as a PORTABLE SPEAKER with the VOLUME fully bumped up!The volume is a lot loud then what I expected.I thought the sound willl loose it's crisp when I bumped the volume all the way up but to my surprise it didn't loose any crisp in the sound!In fact I didn't find any difference.ROUNDING UP I will recommend this product if someone asks me as I am fully satisfied with this one!

Product is good, Am using this for more than six months. But it also has some disadvantages tooADV: Sound clarity is awesomeI have compared the sound with major brands, this one simply rocks.It has voice input function too.Damn cheap price for best quality.Disadv:Two seperate plugin wires for audio input and output. so u cannot use to attend the call in phones. can be used only with laps, pc...etcIt looks very big in size. so u cannot use in your office ( it makes every one to notice you :) )

So I have been using it for some time now, and I have been quite satisfied with what it has to offer. It's a decent pair of headsets for daily office use. Much reliable than most of the other same price or lower products. The only issue till now had been that the hinge that holds the MIC has become loose. Although this doesn't effect my call qualities. I would have rated it 4.3 if possible.

great head-set from Philips... awesome clarity of sound, recommended for skype or other internet calls, mic quality is also good, noise cancellation is great, but the bass is a bit short, but its ok according to its price...built quality is great, but a little uncomfortable as the ear gets sweaty.......... over all to me, great head-set under the price 600... worth the price !!

Always Lovable and ComfyThis Product always Comfortable to wear, If you think about Gaming this was Economical Product.This was not a Perfect Product was Music lovers, But This Headset gives you nice Treble and Bass ( a long time listeners ).Both earpieces were completely Balanced, Due to That Over-ear design, you won't even feel an itch or Sweaty or any pain after Playing or listening more than 5-6 hours continuously.I personally recommended for gamers who think economically.

Hoje em dia, quase nenhum computador tem uma entrada para fone e outra para microfone. Comprei esse fone, que parece ser bom, mas quase não usei, porque não consegui encontrar um adaptador bom que funcione para contornar esse problema de hardware.

Comprei o produto para utilizar em reuniões on-line, que aumentaram muito com a pandemia. O fone se encaixa bem nas orelhas, permite bons ajustes e veda bem os sons externos. As espumas são confortáveis, porém, o uso mais prolongado faz com que as orelhas fiquem suadas em contato com o revestimento das espumas. O som dos fones é bom para o uso que faço, assim como o áudio. O adaptador (áudio/microfone) é prático, porém, se for usar no celular/tablet precisará retirar a capa do aparelho para que ele se encaixe perfeitamente. Esteticamente na cabeça acho que não é muito bonito, principalmente aquelas duas conchas dos fones. Fiquei satisfeito com o produto e a entrega. Recomendo a compra.

pena que o couro se solta após certo uso.
