Kirkland Signature Microwave Popcorn, 3.3 oz, 44 Count

Taste is amazing. It is premium popcorn. Very few unpopped kernels. Kernels resist burning during a longer-than-recommended cook time. The bag is a good size, seemingly larger than other brands. It does contain salt but is not too salty. Very buttery.

If you like fully popped bags of popcorn, then do yourself a favor, Don't bother with this one. Sure, the popcorn is delicious, however we never know whether we're going to get a full bag, a half full bag or just a hand full of popcorn. It's not our microwave that fails to pop the popcorn properly. We have had other brands that popped much better than this brand. Question the low price and ask why you get such a deal on 44 bags. It's been a tremendous waste of money for us.

Costco made the Kirkland line to control quality while providing its shoppers with an affordable brand. Now they are selling the economical Kirkland brand everywhere and you save bigtime when you get them. These popcorn microwave bags are about the best buy you can find, and the quality is as good as almost any brand. The secret to all microwave popcorn is this: for better taste, find out how long to cook for full popping and cut that time by 15 to 28 seconds. Now, you will have unpopped kernels but if we're talking taste, the longer it pops the lesser it tastes. OK, you don't like that wasteful idea, then try this: pop the corn until it's fully popped and then ADD a minute or two. What happens is magical: you get that old aluminum stove-top result. Yes the kernels are brown, overcooked and just the way you remember. IF you liked making popcorn with the little wire pan you had to keep shaking, then this is the closest you can come without actually buying that (they still sell the stove top brand, by the way.)

I LOVE popcorn! I mean seriously. I would eat it every day if I could. I keep a box of popcorn in the pantry just in case. So when my daughter was given this popcorn in a Christmas gift, I didn’t give it a second glance. She asked to pop the bag during a movie night and I finally gave in. She ate a few bites, I finished off the bag and quickly did a Google search to find out where I could buy more of this delicious popcorn. This is by far the best popcorn I have ever eaten! It’s movie theater popcorn but it’s not all buttery and greasy. Almost every kernel popped so there are no kernels to throw away it has a good light taste. I have nothing negative to say at all. If you like popcorn you will LOVE this popcorn. I was hooked on Orville but no longer. I ordered the big case from Amazon and was popping a bag before the FedEx truck could pull away.

If you love popcorn, you'll want to try this! Huge popped kernels, crispy yet fluffy, such a satisfying "chew". Box is large enough for me to share packs often and every recipient loves it. Box big enough to last a while, but when I run out, I am most definitely buying another one!I run about 2 mins in my micro, each micro is different, so test and stop when popping slows. A friend didn't mind her pack, so she had burnt kernels. But even burnt, still tasty :)

I've bought this product directly from Costco in the past and loved it. Ordered it from Amazon and can't even begin to describe the disaster I recorded.It was shipped in the original Kirkland box and was relieved crushed and broken open. The individual packages of popcorn are all greasy on the outside of the bag and therefore will not pop properly. Half of the kernels font pop at all. It tastes burnt and stale. It of course is not eligible for return.Complete waste of money. Not even worth popping and throwing outside for the birds.

Delicious, and almost every kernel pops. I set my high-powered microwave to three minutes, then stop it once I hear one pop every two seconds or so. The only negative (this is why I give it only four stars) is that it's a bit greasy. Sometimes I'll pull a bag from the carton that's a bit greasy before popping! Once you're ready to eat it, have plenty of napkins ready, and if you're eating it straight from the bag, don't set it down on any upholstery.
