From a sunflower to an oak tree most of the plants around us have seeds. Look around your garden and park and see how many different seeds you can find. See if you can discover what they are, try planting them to see if they grow or draw a picture of what the seed could grow into. Leaf Collage Fallen leaves are everywhere - you'll find them on the street, in your garden or at the local park. How many different kinds, colours and shapes of leaves can you find? Collect as many as you can and see if you can identify the plant they are from. Then use your imagination to create a picture or collage with them. Bark Rubbing The bark of each variety of tree is different. Can you tell the difference? Next time you're in the park or your garden, take a few pieces of paper and coloured wax crayons. When you see a tree with an interesting bark pattern, hold the paper against it and rub the crayon over it to reveal the texture of the bark.

Delicious treats, bought as stocking fillers for my husband. For 6 in a pack I thought this was a little expensive, but liked that I didn’t have to trawl the supermarket looking for this family favourite!
