Love these tubes for the river! They usually last a few years which is amazing considering how many time I float the salt river on them. The netting on the bottom is great so you can just float and relax and reposition yourself as needed. Especially love the netting when I take the kids. They are very durable and comfortable. I highly recommend these ones over the other brands. The other ones just don’t last as long as the intex ones do. Definitely get your moneys worth out of them.

I got this tube for use during river floats because it was about the same price as the cheaply made ones I found at Wal-Mart and Farm & Fleet. I thought that based on the reviews and the price, I may as well give it a shot. Boy, was I impressed! This tube is unbeatable at this price. First off, the tube itself is very durable. The material feels thick, and the tube just feels very tough. The river was a little low when I went and at some parts, it got down to only about 3" deep. I am a 210 pound guy and it didn't drag! Although it didn't drag on the river bottom, it occasionally hit logs and branches that were in the water. I know it is durable because not a thing happened to it when it hit these branches and logs. The mesh bottom didn't even tear, like some reviewers have said. It is also amazingly comfortable and convenient. The back rest made sitting in it for 6 hours on my float down the river very comfortable. The mesh bottom is very nice to sit in, too. At 6'1" and 210 pounds, this tube was very comfortable and fit me easily. The cup holders were great, too. They fit a 20 oz soda bottle, or a 12 oz adult beverage bottle perfectly. The handles and rope were very nice, also. I tied a spare tube to mine to sit a cooler in using the included rope and put it through the rings on the outside that the rope is supposed to go through to wrap around the tube. Overall, this tube is great. All of the features combined with a price tag below $20 makes this a great buy for anyone that wants to use it for river float, or just lounging in the pool on a hot day. If you need a new tube, or want a better tube, this is a great one to buy.

After reading the many reviews and seeing these as well as the River Rats (also Intex) at various lakes and rivers, I decided to pick one up. I also picked up the River Run 2 for 2 adults. The River Run is a high quality medium duty River or lake tube. The build is thicker and tougher than a regular swimming pool tube and you notice this right away. The other thing you notice right away is the size. This thing is big for one person. I am 5'7" and when I lay in it, my hands can barely touch the water. When in a lake and drifting, it would be nice to be able to steer a bit with your hands in the water. So for me, maneuverability is just not there. If you want to just float, it is great. Unlike the River Rat, this does not have an empty hole in the bottom of it. It has mesh which is nice for me, but the River Rat was more popular in our group, especially with the grand kids. Where this was real popular for myself was the inflation and deflation of the tube. It uses a standard large nozzle like you would use on an air mattress to sleep on. It is simple and fairly quick to do, especially when you see the size of this. To deflate, you simply unscrew the valve assembly and force out the air. It could not be made simpler. The reason for 4 stars was due to being unable to maneuver this in a lake with your hands. I am taking a paddle out this next week as we camp again and seeing if it is doable. To some, this may be a non-issue but for myself, when I see an area of rocks coming closer, I really do not want to just drift into them and to find out the hard way that one rock may be just pointy enough to POP the River Run. The River Run though does have two air chambers for safety. 7/19/14 UPDATE: Just got back from camping and I would upgrade my rating to 4.5 stars if I could. We used it at the lake and i brought along a double end paddle we use for an air filled 2 man boat and it worked decently for maneuverability. Hey, it was not perfect but I was able to go against the current and a light wind to get back to the area we were at after drifting a bit. I did get a bit wet from the paddle as one end is down in the water and it was still a reach to get paddle in the water far enough to do any good, which left the other end was up over me in the air dripping water. This was not a big deal as with the River Run, you are still getting wet as you float where you sit. :)

This is a great raft, especially for group trips because they easily connect to each other. I definitely recommend getting a pump to go along with it, but because there are two valve options (one way to fill up plus a quick release), it is easy enough to blow into too, but would take a long time. I bought 3 rafts and my friends bought 3 more plus the rectangle cooler (also by Intex, river run series) for a floating trip on the Russian River and they were all great, except that one of the ones I bought had a defect in the valve portion and as a result had a slow leak throughout our 7 hour floating trip. It wasn't a huge deal because we were on a really slow moving river and I periodically re-inflated it by mouth to keep it full, but it was a bit annoying. I will try to return this raft and get a replacement because the 5 other people were very happy with their rafts (and I was too despite the slow leak)! The cup holders are convenient and the handles and grab ropes are also very nice to have. The rafts are comfortable and we all liked the mesh bottom (plastic mesh rather than nylon or some other fabric) so you stay in the water somewhat. They were very quick to inflate with the car pump and very quick to deflate with the quick release. I highly recommend this product.

These were great for our river run. Mo issues floating on the river, easy to get in and out of (even in a sling). They were comfortable and the hole easily fit my small frame and my husband’s larger frame. These were cute and good quality products overall.

my family has four of the.se. we purchased two in 2023 thaft we have used several times in lakes and rivers. they hold up well. I am 6' 250 lbs and enjoy floating in it and feel i can move around and it holds up for me. easy to inflate, feels stable and secure in the calm waters i have used them in. I recently purchased two more on Amazon but just noticed that big5 sporting goods has them at a better price. regardless, the quality is good for the price. Our first two, my wife and i bought on a miserably hot weekend for triple the current amazon price and was okay with it because the were exactly what we needed on a hot vacation in the middle of nowhere in NorCal summer heat.

El mejor flotador que he tenido en mi vida. Calidad muy buena. Se ve muy resistente en comparación con otros hinchables. Además la boca de inflado y desinflado alterna entre estas dos acciones. Esto último ayuda a que el desinflado sea totalmente automático (no tienes que quitarle el aire manualmente) y rápido (desinflado en menos de dos minutos sin hacer nada). El tamaño grande y es MUY CÓMODO. Me encanta llevarlo a la playa, es fácil de transportar.

This was absolutely brilliant, it’s well made, robust and withstood being dragged around on grass with 3 kids in it. It’s still like new. Pumps up and down easily, it’s huge and excellent value for money. It looks great too, it had all the kids on the campsite wanting a go. We had it up for a week and it never went down once. Cheaper than buying a rubber dinghy, which is what I was looking for.
