Mira Vision - Ceiling Fed - High Pressure/Combi Boiler

Bought it as part of a complete re-do of my bathroom, to replace an electric shower. Very happy with it - the controller is easy to use with options for temperature and flow rate, and very responsive. I'm told by my bathroom installer that it was easy to fit. (But there is some electrical work needed, to run power to the thermostatic mixing valve "brain"). Looks stylish and comes with a shower head that has 4 different water patterns that you can access by rotating it in its housing. Out of the box the maximum temperature you can set it to is 45 degrees C but this can be adjusted on the controller menu options up to allowing a max of 48 degrees. I thought that 45 didn't sound very high, but I like a hot shower (from my old electric one, but it didn't tell me what temperature it was!) and 45 degrees was about right for me! (My partner says that is far too hot and he takes a more moderate 38 degree shower - brr!) I tested it using various different temperatures with an old mercury thermometer (I'm a nerd...) and the temperature you set on the controller is accurate to the actual temperature of the water to within about 0.5 of a degree. _A point to note_: this shower isn't compatible with the "Mira Mode" app. You use the supplied wireless controller to set the temperature etc but you can't talk to it via the app. (My partner and I wasted a lot of time on this!)

Tying this superb Mira shower into my new Ideal combination high pressure boiler was a revelation moment. Almost like I had never really showered before. The simplicity of the system when set up is superb. The control of the water supply using the remote control is brilliant and in fairness once set to your preference is just a press on for instantaneous feed at the right temperature and an instant stop using the remote. Using a professional plumber to advise on the purchase and install the unit is the best idea. Having Mira available at the end of the phone is a bonus as the supply unit needs to be synchronised with the remote control. Thank you Amazon for stocking Mira.

Bought this to replace 15 year old Mira Magna shower, as you would expect latest model is a big improvement and for less money than I paid all those years ago. Professionally fitted and working fine. Love the wireless controller.
