A sample of something else in a glass flask was sent along with this item. It had broken during shipment and caused the gift I sent for to small really awful.

James Bond would wear it…So would Chuck Norris….so should you…It’s classic and it smells like a quintessential man.

This scent sends me on a mind trip to the islands! Fresh, clean, tropical scent. I have used this same product for 45 years and it never gets old.

1. The first item I will mention, just as other reviewer have also stated is that this item is not the same as the original product. I still have a 90% full bottle of the original and it definitely smells different and somewhat better than this item which has a little more of a chemical smell to it. It has definitely been thinned down with some other chemicals. Both the website image and the actual product description shown for this product on the Amazon website are clearly and unquestionably misleading. See my uploaded images from the website. The image on Amazon shows "Made in Bermuda" and the product descriptions on Amazon clearly states "This Product Is Manufactured In Bermuda". However, upon receipt of the product, it clearly states on both actual product packaging and the actual bottle label "Made in USA Under License from Royall Lyme (Bermuda) Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda". See uploaded image for what I received. So I do think Amazon needs to change this listing to accurately and truly reflect what is actually being sold here.2. The second item I want to mention is that when I received this package, just as others have stated, some of the contents of the bottle had leaked out all over the product packaging and the Amazon box that it came in. I'm quite surprised that UPS has not made a big deal about this because shipping products that are flammable, which this product is since it contains alcohol, is rather dangerous. Also I was not to excited about the fact that I'm not getting all of the product that I have paid for due to the leakage.3. The last and probably **most important** item I want to mention in my review is that in spite of the two issues I listed above, I am mostly happy with my purchase. It's not the same as the original but close enough to meet my satisfaction. And for $30 for 8 ounces this is a great deal. The original was around $45 for 4 ounces. Now I feel like I can use it more frequently and as liberally as needed. I will save my original version for more special occasions and use this newer version for the rest of the time.

I really like the scent of this. It is a pleasant spice scent that lingers throughout the day. One reviewer compared the scent to a cross between Old Spice and Bay Rum. That may indeed be an accurate statement. I would simply add that it has a manly and sophisticated air to it. The bottle is glass and it is way cool! This is normally a bit expensive for me, but honestly, it is well worth the cost. Buy some and enjoy!

Truly a Man's Fragrance...established in 1957...yet there is nothing Old Fashion about this scent. It is an absolute turn on for women, I constantly am asked "what is that wonderful fragrance you're wearing?". Properly applied with a touch to wrists, neck, back of legs, and underarms your aroma will enrich your presence to yourself and those around you. It has a staying power without being overpowering. My girls(wife, daughter, granddaughter, friends always compliment me when I wear "Royall Spyce"..

This is my absolute favorite cologne. I first encountered it 48 years ago ... I liked it immediately and have never tired of it. I also received many compliments about it . I highly recommend this to anyone that likes a scent similar to Bay rum but classier and richer. I always make sure to have a spare bottle in reserve whenever I'm running low.

Arrived intact. However, the bottle cap was not on tightly and 1/8 of the product leaked out onto the packaging. Not Happy!
