Best book for basic solid state physics. Can be used as reference for undergrads and complete book for university syllabus. This Indian edition is better than the other one. Content is also simplified. You'll find it completely different from the other one. Font is also attractive.

Good book for those who have basic understanding. Will not suggest for first time readers.
