DISNEY INFINITY Figure Violet

My daughter was a huge fan of Skylanders, which was the original video game that required you to buy endless figures and paraphernalia for use in the game. She is also a huge fan of Disney, so I thought Disney Infinity would be a huge hit at our house. It wasn’t. She just never really got into it - and I kept encouraging her by buying the figures of her favorite characters. She did play Disney Infinity some, but it just never took hold the way Skylanders did.THE KID SAYS: The included toy box modes had good stories but beyond that there was so little direction that some people could get overwhelmed. The stories were easy to finish up and after that it was hard for me to come up with ideas for the sandboxes.

I can see why Violet is such a sought after figure. She is easy the most powerful character in the Incredibles set, along with being a great addition to toy box mode. You can completely sneak up on enemies while invisible, and pounce them with her powerful attacks, then become invisible again. Be aware, Violet is a delicate toy physically, so I don't know if she could stand up to rough play, so an adult might want to help younger children with her. Even with this, I still place Violet in my top 5 favorite Infinity Figures.

We are big Disney fans, and that alone is enough to make me want to buy these figures. They look great, and the detail is surprisingly accurate for such small items, but the game itself is really cool.I've only played a few times, often I just watch and will read to my youngest if something pops up, but I like that this game is geared towards younger gamers. As with some of the other Infinity characters, Violet's legs are somewhat thin, and that is worrisome if your kids get rough with their pieces, but overall, she's a great addition to the Infinity world!

My kids learned of Disney Infinity about a month ago. They love it. My son got Dash a few weeks ago and my daughter wanted this one to play with so I found it on Amazon and ordered it for her. Violet is invisible in the game and my daughter loves it. The only problem I have with it (and it has nothing to do with Disney, but just her character) is that she is way too skinny and I know sooner or later she is going to break. No one's fault, she has to look the way she does in cartoons, but she is skinny.

I was skeptical of these action figure add-ons to games, but I've really come to appreciate them. I bought my kids Disney Infinity for Christmas. Now every few weeks, they do something to earn one of these figures. At $10 - $12, not really a bad deal. The kids immediately enjoy playing the game with the new figure and we get a little more entertainment from that game we bought a few months ago. Win.Violet has been one of my daughters' favorite characters to play.

With a apparent rarity of this one (hiked up prices everywhere), you'd think she'd be awesome to play but she's just ok. Still fun but I prefer Elastagirl as far as powers and cool factor go. Wait for a price drop for sure. People should not be asking for $15 or higher!

Bought as a gift. It's a great collectible for any Disney infinity fan. Works with all systems, we use it on a PS4. Violet is able to go invisible and makes force fields. The kids love it.

another disney infinity figure, needed to go through the levels,my children reassure me it is worth it, and it is useful to be able to withold the toy as a punishment.
