Add Character and Covers up the Flaws
Our bedroom ceiling had different textures and different paint colors. It looked like there had been some leaks through the roof that they repaired, but not well. I’m not great at drywall works and I hate painting ceilings. These tiles seemed like a good option to add character while covering flaws. After finding center in my ceiling and getting that first tile centered, it was easy to install. I didn’t need to paint the tiles at all. They look like a satin sheen, white color. I used a regular utility knife and ruler to easily make accurate cuts. I also opted to use Alex caulk instead of glue because I think it’d be easier to remove if I ever wanted too. Just a little caulk squiggled around the edges (not too close to the edge so it doesn’t squeeze out) and squiggled through the center and up it went. I softly pushed the tiles onto the ceiling and they’ve stayed put without having to hold it there, no problem and way cheaper than construction glue. I used white colored caulk and it can’t be seen through the tiles at all. The tiles are very light foam so they aren’t completely exhausting to manage. I just had to be careful not to scratch them before they got to the ceiling. I also installed crown molding with LED lighting while I was at it.Everything turned out great!

Cheap junk
I ordered a sample based on other reviews. As several stated, this is just a thin molded piece of styrofoam that I would in no way waste my money buying or time installing on my ceiling. It is basically a food take-out container.

Easy to use and looks great
These tiles were easy to install using heavy-duty construction adhesive.. They are lightweight so they were no problem adhering to the ceiling. Where they needed to be cut to fit an ordinary razor knife or even scissors. The look belies the economy and relatively light weight.

Would recommend
I’m renovating my kitchen and dining room. The dining room ceiling had some imperfections and cracked seams that I didn’t have the patience to try to fix anymore. These tiles are great. No one can tell they’re styrofoam just glued to the ceiling. I haven’t painted them (yet) but may at some point. In certain lighting I can see the glue under the tiles. I love the way the ceiling came out though. Easy, inexpensive fix.

The tiles look much better than the peeling ceiling but the scraped area underneath shows through. I wish they were a little thicker or coated with a plastic layer to make them less transparent. Very easy to install.

Cost efficient option, won't let you down
Looking to redecorate on a budget? These work great! We were able to install in a bedroom very quickly and easily, and they have held up without issue. The Styrofoam is thick enough that the glue does not show through, but thick enough to look higher quality.

Styrofoam panel
I first looked at wood slats and they were too much money. I painted these 2 coats and used glue and they look nice. I bought 15 of them. Postage was a little high.

It's the thickness of a styrofoam picnic plate
Was hoping it was something more durable than a picnic plate. Tried to return but only option given was UPS dropoff costing more than I paid for this item.
