Perhaps not Thompson Center - but works.
Can't tell if this product is genuine or off the boat. Whatever. It works, and besides the actual finish of the metal, which is a rough sort of parkerization looking deal. As opposed to genuine thompson center nipples which are a matte-polish stainless steel look....this has held up well. And I will buy one again if need be. Good product - threaded in fine to a pedersoli. Doesn't look bad. And is durable - at least as durable as OEM nipples.

Easy to use by an amateur.
New to muzzleloaders and had a misfire. A friend tried to help, filled the barrel with warm soapy water, only to find the bullet puller was for a larger caliber. Ordered this and it arrived the next day. First step removed the plastic tip, then the bullet. And finally the sabot. Success!

Great Product
Really like this Musket Nipple for my Thomson Center Hawken Traditional Sidelock Muzzleloader. It fit perfectly and I am really happy that it allows more fire into the breech to ignite the powder. Recommend this product if you tend to hunt in fairly damp conditions and need some extra fire power to ignite the charge.

Well Worth It.
Never had to remove a slug before but I bought this, removed the nipple and rendered the powder useless (a little water) and used this device to remove a .50 cal Hornady. It was done in less than a minute. Very, very convenient. Threads directly to ram rod at least for my TC.

Exactly as I hoped
Fits my Hawken perfectly. I will be out to test new loads soon, but I don't know that they will have changed drastically. Overall a great purchase.
