I have been using this kit for root touch ups for a couple years now and even though I'm a supporter of purchasing products directly from a pro beauty supply location for most quality color and other products and treatments ...I'm also a fan of this kit. Its easy and yields consistent results as long as you follow the directions for mixing and preparing and experiment with the timing depending on your starting shade and condition or the hair youre bleachingdamaged - check a test strand a few minutes early. Its always better to redo the process a week later after giving your hair time to recover than to end up with fried tresses.Lighter shade-may require less time to lift color to desired shade of blonde.Healthy/virgin(never dyed or chemically treated)-still check a few minutes early and if color isn't lifting fast enough you can use a bit of heat with a hairdryer on low heat checking every couple minutes.Also the solutions ability to lighten decreases after the max time indicated in many home kits but still watch the clock. If your shade is super close and times almost up definitely try heat briefly. Even better if you happen to be lucky enough to own one of those dome dryers you can sit under. If not a regular hand held will work fine.TIP: heat causes bleach to lift color and lighten faster so any mixture applied very close to or at the roots is going to lifet faster than loose ends further away from the scalp. So if doing a full head for the first time and not just roots apply mixture around hairline and the leave roots close to scalp till you get the rest of the hair covered evenly and thoroughly. then saturate roots throughout whole head and loosely pile hair atop head and if you have a plastic disposable shower cap cover hair so heat from your head can more evenly lift root to tip.After thoroughly rinsing out all bleach mixture in COOL not hot water use shampoo from kit or as I prefer a shampoo formulated spcifically for blonde hair. many have a purpleish tint and/or deep conditioners with proteins your hair des[perately needs after a harsh bleach session. I really like Its a 10 for blondes line but others will work as well depending on your budget and brand preference. I especially recommend their 5 minute hair repair following bleach. Another that is a bit cheaper but still very effective is Aussi 3 minute miracle. Its not specifically for blondes but still really has some awesome stuff in it.I'm not specifically promoting any of these brands I just mentioned, just giving a few helpful suggestionsAny other bleach or color questions pertaining to the use of this kit or otherwise just ask! Word of advice, DO NOT USE ON THE ROOTS TILL LATER!This works extremely well but fast!The first time my wife used this her roots were very white and the rest of her long hair was blonde.Before she got to the other half her head the half she already did was done and like it says "super blonde".She believes this is even better than going to the salon and much cheaper!She uses it to even her dark roots with the lighter hair color she has (she has dark brown roots and dyes it a strawberry blonde) or when she decides to go from the dark hair color to a lighter color one.It saves money before going to the salon to have it dyed the color she wants.

Please, for the love of God do not buy this product! I went from Burnett's to Super Saiyan. It is so brassy. Look at the photos everyone is orange! My professional hairdresser cousin warned me! I did not listen. I read the reviews I did not listen! My technical husband applied this with precision and it still came out brassy orange. It was not user error. Unless you want to live pineapple and banana dreams do not buy this product.

Pretty impressive lift for my medium brown colored hair! My strand test was for 60 minutes, after carefully checking the names and proportions of the ingredients. First is prepared strand then the look of the hair after 60 minutes bleaching and removing the protective tape on one end tape so one can see the contrast Think I will go for 65 minutes (5 more than recommended). There is an orange tone but honestly not bad. Last image is how the strand looked in a bit more shadow. There it really doesn’t show up orange.

I have been using this bleach dye for the past several years and it works great! I was paying around 70 dollars every six weeks to get my hair professionally done and I really needed to find a way not only reduce that cost but to save the hours spent sitting in a salon.. I was very apprehensive and scared to try lightening my hair at home. I had done it in the past and it had been too light, almost white. Long story short, this works great for me! If you have longer hair and doing your whole head, you will need two boxes. I have long hair but I have been using it for a few years now so I only have to apply it to my roots to maintain my color. I do follow this up with a wella toner just to combat any orange or golden hues. Purple shampoos are great too if you want to gradually tone it up some. Any bleach can be harsh on the hair, I mix Ion Color perfection into the bleach and stir it up before I put it on, this helps to protect my hair and keep it safe during the lightening process. I get compliments all the time on my hair color. Most are shocked when I tell them I do it myself, at home. This product has been essential part of my hair care routine.
