Medical Terminology for Health Professions

Often, instructors tell students to buy textbooks that are worthless without them. This textbook is the exact opposite.Rarely, have i encountered a textbook that was clear and straight forward and i understood it. I cant remember a single time i was confused or really needed help. Whoever wrote this book must be a great teacher because the book is clearly written and very very simple to understand. The book came to me in good condition and i even found the highlighting left in the book to be useful.I really wish all my textbooks were this useful and easy to understand. Let me state, to date and after the class I have not sold this book. Kudos to the authors

I found Ann Ehrlich's Medical Terminology for Health Professions to be a very thorough resource for learning medical terminology. I liked how the authors color coded the key terms and secondary terms to help the student better distinguish between them. Another helpful feature of this book is the way they show you how to remember various words by breaking them into their root and suffix word parts. The learning exercises in the book are both challenging and thought-provoking. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to learn medical terminology.

This book came right on time and in the condition stated. It does have the CD with it, though my computer doesn't have a way to use it (my problem, not theirs). The information inside the book is what I most care about, and it is all there.

I had to buy this book for a medical terminology class I am taking in college. It is very east to understand. I also love how the back of the book has all the pre fix, suffix and root words that we have to know. You just tear out the little notecards. It says the defination on the front and the answer on the back of the card. Makes it much easier to understand and I don't have to make hundreds of my own notecards.

I originally had this book for my college level medical terminology class and loved it. I gave my copy to my daughter who is in college because she was using a newer book which was so much harder to understand. So I had to buy a copy for myself. The product is great and was delivered on time. It did not take long, after the book was bought, to be delivered to me. I found the book to be in the condition that it had been said it would be, which was used but in good condition. The book is not at all falling apart, all the pages are there, and I so glad that it did include the CD, which is very useful.

Bought used and received it like it was brand new! Was very well taken care of and has helped a ton with my classes and just overall learning. Very help and easy to read and understand.

Loved, taking this course and learning all the new words the disc and the crosswords were very helpful very easy book to follow along and gives great information. Learned alot. Passed the class with an A!
