I saw this Donabe was used by a Japanese old lady making rice in the NHK Japanese broadcasting and I bought the exact same one in Amazon. Guess what I am using the Donabe everyday since I got it because the dinner rice taste much better than the electric rice cooker. Even though the price is high but I think it is worth,

I like it very much, this pot makes so delicious steamed rice. The first time when I was using the pot, it was leaking. I researched and find out the problem. There are many pores because of made by clay,,,,. I treated as a stone pot. Therefore it stopped leaking.I use almost everyday this pot. I don’t use electric rice maker anymore.
