I had been meaning to buy something like this for a couple of years, after being visited in my living room by a blackbird, a wood pigeon, and a jackdaw over the course of a few months.Unfortunately, I have no head for heights and am useless on ladders, so I only ever saw the pots from ground level. When these wire balloons arrived, they looked huge and I was concerned I had made an error in judgment. I have four pots, so purchased two twin packs. Delivery was quick, and packaging was adequate.Anyway, fortunately, I was in the middle of having some solar panels installed, and the roofer very kindly agreed to fit these in place while he was up there, at no additional cost to myself. They installed in minutes, and fit well, so mission accomplished.Granted, I am now also aware of some repointing work that needs doing up there, but that’ll have to be a job for another day.

After having 3 pigeons down chimney all were rescued and released, thought its time to use a preventative. as an older person I could not do it myself, got a roofer to fit without any problem, he was quick and efficient. all is well, will not have problem again.

Had a couple of unwanted crows trying to make a nest in our chimney. Popped one of these in the pot and end of problem. Seems well made and being stainless steel should last a lifetime. So easy to fit as it just pushes straight in.

These cowls are easy to install, and have now stopped the jackdaws nesting in my chimney.
