What? Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over my AWESOME TWEETERS!
I installed these in the A-pillar wings of a 2006 Taurus and they fit very nicely. I took them out of the surface mount enclosures and flush mounted them, which upon retrospect was probably more effort than it was worth. I used the included template to measure the cutout and somehow ended up cutting the hole too big by probably half a millimeter. When you flush mount these and take them out of the surface mount enclosures, they are press-to-fit only, and have no other mechanism to secure them. Thusly, you want to measure VERY CAREFULLY, and even then maybe leave yourself about a half a millimeter of wiggle room. I ended up supergluing them into the plastic, and they have yet to fall out.I have them wired in parallel with the front speakers, which are powered by an Alpine 4-channel amp off of a Sony 2-volt head unit. I gather they're probably receiving somewhere between 50-75 watts RMS, and to make a long story short they make my ears bleed. But seriously, they haven't stopped ringing and I'm being fitted for hearing aids next week. I'm no newcomer to mobile audio, I consider myself an audiophile and appreciate, nay, DEMAND the most consistent and uncolored reproduction of sound possible. I'm not a professional by any means, it's more of a hobby. A really, really expensive and time-consuming hobby. But I'd like to think I know my stuff. That being said, I am absolutely awestruck by the increase in my soundstage. Not just simply by moving the high-end closer to my head, but by the clean, crisp, undistorted signal these recreate. I routinely, and much to the chagrin and protest of my overly-abused ear-holes, hammer relentlessly on these tweeters, and all they do is smirk back at me and beg for more. Even my wife commented on them. She borrowed my car after I installed them and said, "I like the thingies you put up in the doors. They make your stereo sound good." This is the same woman that couldn't figure out how to "turn on" the lawnmower after it ran out of gas. "It takes gas?" Bless her precious little heart...I bought these simply because of the price, (well, and partly because of the Clarion brand) fully expecting them to fail within the first six weeks. That was almost a year ago. No such luck. As far as I'm concerned, this was the best $30 I've ever spent. The only reason I've given them 4 stars instead of 5 was simply because the lack of flush mount hardware makes for very unforgiving installation. A screw-type mount, or hell, even some extra duct-tape and I would have given them 5 stars hands down.

Sounds Great!!!! Get 'em!!!!
First off, I am an audiophile, and professional recording engineer of many years. That being said, my ears are *trained* for good audio.I always upgrade speakers in the car, and with my new 2017 Corolla, first thing to change were the tweeters. I usually insist on silk domes, but decided to give these a try, after viewing the frequency response. It is relatively smooth from about 4K to 10K, then the upper/top band rises a good bit. I recently had my hearing checked, and, as we age, those top frequencies diminish, becoming harder to hear. All this being said, these tweeters performed extremely well for me!! Lots of crisp, clean, detailed high-end!I say, get 'em! You won't be disappointed!!

Solid replacement for lame factory tweeters
Lets use Toyota as an example of current audio philosophy. They make an attempt to integrate dynamic sound into most vehicles, certainly better than attempts from years past. But even partnering with JBL, results are meh. Thats why the aftermarket is so important to help us to breathe some life into our automotive environment. This pair of tweeters are an integral part of wise upgrades. Clarion has a history of good, no-nonsense products to help enhance your listening experience. And at a very reasonable prince. Mounting options with these tweeters allows you to direct the output to improve front staging for a realistic concert experience. The metal dome material adds that "sizzle" to highs that factory tweeters can only dream of offering. Often, silk dome tweeters are too subtle in their delivery, the Clarions are spot on in this regard. Consider these and enjoy!

Good bang for your buck!
These are a sweet deal and you get your bank for the buck. Easy to install and has a rich sound. Built in capacitors for filtering so no cross over is necessarily needed.

Amazing sound! great addition to my setup!
I replaced my factory component tweeters in my 2006 Hyundai sonata with these and with a little modification of the factory bracket they fit in the factory location on the A-pillar and look completely stock! These things sound amazing! I am running these up front along with some MB Quart 6 1/2" 2 ways as well as the same MB Quarts in the rear running off of a 100watt rms X 4 amp and it sounds awesome. These Clarions really bring out the highs in all different Genres, couldn't be happier especially for the price!
