Does what it says and well
What else can I say this thing kicks but literally. Works great on the P1X sim racing rig. Mounts right to it with your own hardware of course. I have 2; one in the front and one in the back. It’s more than enough to feel Everything you need to feel. Wheel lock, wheel slip, gear-shifting, engine vibration and anything else your sim will put out. Quality product; 3rd one I bought now.

Underwhelmed...Updated
After having three other bass shakers (Dayton, Aura, and Visiton) fail on me I finally broke down and purchased this mini LFE. All the aforementioned shakers blow this thing away (until they fail and start clunking which can take anywhere from one month to one week). Also, the LFE overheats very quickly and will shut it self off after 15 to 20 minutes. But so far it has been sturdy and reliable and that is something the other shakers just cannot provide. CAVEAT! I am powering this off a Nob Sound Mini Sub Amp rated at aprox 100 Watts. So any issues I am having could be from it being under powered (it is rated up to 400 Watts). UPDATE! I swapped out the Nob Sound mini amp for this mini amp board XH-M253 TDA8954TH BTL HiFi Class 420W High Power Mono Digital Amplifier (keep in mind this amp board is NOT plug and play and requires a unique AC transformer as a power source and a separate preamp to act as a volume control. DO YOUR HOME WORK!). Running with a 24 volt center tapped transformer I estimate it puts out around 200 watts. Not only is the sound better without the constant clipping but all the overheating problems are GONE! In summary, if you don't have the sophistication, or desire, to open up a bass shaker and fabricate replacement spiders this makes total sense. Or just spend the money and get the butt kicker in full size.

Incredible immersive experience in both movies and games.
I paired this up with a Behringer iNuke NU1000 DSP amplifier, and let me tell ya, this thing packs a punch! I got these two devices to replace my ButtKicker Gamer2, and while expensive, completely worth it. My movie watching experience has gone from "a great experience" to "I feel like I am in an IMAX theater". The sheer power that this transducer is capable of is incredible! The movies I tested were Transformers (2007) and Clover Field. Neither are that great of movies, but they have unrivaled sound design and are perfect for testing BASS. I play a lot of games too, my favorite being the Battlefield franchise. First game I tested the transducer with was Battlefield 1. I played the singleplayer tank missions, and holy moly it felt like I was sitting in a real tank (granted I turned up the power). I could feel the engine rumble, the shaking from the uneven terrain, the impact from every enemy shell smashing into the side of our tank, and the shock from every shell we fired back, all as if I could feel the wave go through my chest. I had a smile on my face for the whole mission. I highly recommend getting this device if your a gamer wanting more immersion, or a movie goer looking for an impactful experience.

Would make a better Heater
This kicker works, however it must be used at a very low setting. I have a 50 watt amp set below half at all times and even with this setting it overheats. The only way to keep it from overheating is to set it at 25% of volume. I don't believe I should have to setup a fan system to keep it cool as this should be a manufacturer fix. I intend to try other brands in the future to see if they perform any better. I also contacted the company directly but received no response at all about the overheating issue. It is well known that these products do not perform correctly yet the company has done nothing to and given no response to me for corrective action.

Just don't look behind the couch
OK, when I first installed a test configuration, I was watching (of all things) Word Girl with a friend. There was a boom, the world shook just a little bit, and my friend said "was that here?" Like surround sound, once you've had a system with well-tuned shakers, you won't want to go back. I didn't want to do the weird "see saw" mounting of the full LFE mounting system, so I directly screwed one of these to the back of the couch. Tested with Pacific Rim. My conclusions are that if you're going to go with Mini LFEs, get two per couch or one per chair. Otherwise they'll bottom out on the really really loud parts. Interestingly, the picture shows screws but the box did not contain any. There was not room under my couch so I mounted on the back. I actually get pretty good results without suspension mounting, as the floor is not a slab (carpet over pressed wood I think) and the couch is pretty flexible. The nicer your furniture is, the more interesting your shaker mounting experiences will be. My biggest criticism with mini Buttkicker shakers in general is that as the volume level decreases, they shake gradually less for a while, then suddenly not at all. There's a point at which the internal puck just sticks. You won't notice this unless you are shaking a fairly light chair with a fairly loose suspension, but it you are, the sudden engagement can be slightly distracting when it interrupts slowly swelling or fading bass sounds. Otherwise, they're great and I need two more. :)

Worth the price
This will make you watch your movies all over again. A great addition to home theaters and gaming systems. I wanted more, so I'm buying a second one (Buttkicker LFE).

Overheats and lacks output for gaming
Generally I am a flight sim and firt person shooter gamer and go between genres on a given night so this equipment sees regular use. Given the external build quality of this LFE I expected it to blow away my Aurora but was left underwhelmed and eventually annoyed. When using an identical amplifier, the 300w Aurora is able to do low and subtle sounds much cleaner and without clipping. The Nobsound G2 I am using has a filter for sub level and when I compare between the Buttkicker and Aurora, the sensation from the Aurora is less jarring regardless of the mounting method I use (the LFE has 2 mounts). The buttcicker also seems to be much more active than the Aurora and as a result needs to have the volume reduced or it risks overheating. I believe that there are mods that can be made but right out of the box I am not sure I would recommend it for gaming.
