Heavy duty. This griddle is great. A little smaller than I expected but still works great for what I needed for. It’s heavy duty and has some weight to it makes food great on the grill

I have had one here in Minnesota now for 11 or so years. It is still going strong. Purchased another one a little over a year ago for our home in Florida, and as with the first, it works great. The reveiews knocking it as being a smoker you should take with a grain of salt. I will say that it really is happier at the higher temps though, and if you are looking for a pure smoker, go elsewhere. But overall this thing is a beast, It does it all. For those of you that are adding or feel the need for a thermometer: I have never had or felt the need for one. Instead of worrying about cooking temps: enjoy the experience!

Haven't used the griddle yet but it fits my Char-Broil Big Easy as described.

First, the Big Easy does run on the hot side if you’re using as a smoker but you can easily compensate by shortening the cooking times. Initially, I didn’t like the idea of no thermometer, but I did some research and I use Bluetooth meat thermometers now and briskets and large chuck roasts come out perfectly. I’ve used it as a grill, smoker and as a roaster with great results. It’s not as large as a traditional grill, but it gets the job done quickly and is pretty easy to keep clean.

CHARBROIL has impressed me lately with their new "TRU INFRARED" grills and smokers. I own the BIG EASY Smoker/roaster/grill and it is truly an amazing product! The best outdoor cooking device that I have ever used. And the best at putting true smoke flavor in everything you cook on it. This griddle is an accessory with one smooth side and one ribbed side. It works great and the quality of the cast iron is surprisingly excellent for an imported griddle, with no pitting or flaws. The BIG EASY grill itself is also very well made for an imported grill. CHARBROIL has really come up in their quality to match their beginnings decades ago!
