All the Way to the Ocean

My 5 & 6 year olds love this book! My son loved it so much he requested he take this book to his Kindergarten class to have his teacher read it to the class! She also loved the book and the class had great things to say about it! We love the message in th book and how our kids are eager to help clean up around the beach and also other local community spots we go to ( like the park). I love books for my kids with positive messages and the impact this one has had our our kids is so positive! I highly recommend this book! Great for Teachers to read during Earth day/week at the schools. This book is one of my children's favorite and often requested to be read at bedtime!

This book is REALLY good gets to the point and my 6yo loves it. I took a star away because it keeps talking about cigarette butts and honestly we live in an age where smoking isn’t as prominent as it was when I was growing up and most kids who are reading this wouldn’t know what that is. Maybe something more relatable like lollipop sticks or water bottles would be something they can understand more or even popped balloons and how horrible it is when u leave it to fly off in the universe...

This book was the perfect lead-in to a lesson I designed on biological engineering and recycling for elementary kids! So relatable!

Artwork by Marq Spusta is pretty sweet.... cool to see his earlier kid friendly work... the book itself is cool and I'm sure kids love it.

Fabulous book, excellent way to teach the importance of not allowing trash to reach the ocean.

This book is colorful and has very cute characters that deliver an important message: All water drains to the Bay/Ocean...don't polute because everything drains to where we swim and enjoy the ocean. Most storm drains in local communities are labeled and this is a nice way to educate K-3 students about the watershed.

The book arrived in great quality. Even smells new. No bent pages or markings - ready to be read to kids. I'm excited about the resource pages in the back.

This book is a great resource for teaching kids the importance of recycling and being careful about how we treat our environment. I love that it is printed on recycled paper with soy ink! This is an excellent read!

Livre pédagogique, instructif, à mettre dans toutes les écoles et les mains de chaque parent. Défendre le geste simple qui consiste à ne plus rien jeter au sol, en ville comme en campagne, ce simple engagement préservera l'océan, nous même et les autres. Ma fille avait 8 ans quand je lui ai acheté ce livre. Ensemble, nous l'avons lu. Je lui ai traduit pour qu'elle comprenne bien son sens et ensuite, elle l'a présenté, avec ses propres mots, à sa classe.Ce livre lui a vraiment fait prendre conscience, grace à ses illustrations, qu'il fallait préserver nos océans et ne rien jeter dans la rue... TRES BON LIVRE.

J'ai acheté ce livre pour mes enfants mais aussi pour le donner à leur instituteur. Ce livre est parfait pour expliquer aux petits les effets de la pollution sur les océans... Il devrait être étudié dans toutes les écoles de France et de cette belle planète!!!
