Our 90 pound Old English Bulldog and his partner in crime - a 5 month old puppy of the same breed are both relentless - hardcore chewers.Thier jaws were designed by Satan.This said, I know when buying virtually any soft or stuffed dog toy that it's the equivalent of pre-mediated murder - for the toy not the dogs!However, Tuffy toys are without question one of the most entertaining line of dog toys we've ever had. Both for the dogs and ourselves.When our oldest, Harley was a puppy he had this odd habit of chewing on seams or pulling strings out of anything from pillows to upholstery until the entire thing was unraveled.We thought this was a puppy phase and that he would grow out of it. Well, it's six years later and we're still waiting.He does this with everything, including our bedding - which is why our prized 1,200 thread count sheets look like swiss cheese.So we know when going into buying a soft or stuffed toy that it doesn't stand a chance for a long healthy life. Harley is going right for that seam - and with deadly accuracy.I've bought more Tuffy toys on Amazon then I can remember.What's left of most of them is lost somewhere in that endless void of half chewed nylabones, Kongs, tennis balls and once adorable stuffed bunnies and other cute kritters that now resemble road kill.So, I decided to crank up the crazy once again and bought the Mega Ring - I love that Tuffy rates their toys on a Tuffy scale.Thos toy was an immediate hit! Our dogs went bezerk and we sat back and laughed. The hole in the center is perfect for you to grab onto and get in on the fun.If you have one dog or many - this is a must have toy. The material is great, thick and strong and the tiger print is a hoot. It's very well made and strong enough for "normal" dogs.Unless of course you live in our world - where the only toy that would have lasting power would be a cinder block. Life is short so if they have fun for a few weeks or months it's worth every cent.And the fun that our dogs have with this toy is well worth the price - even though we know that for the poor Tuffy, it's days are numbered.5 Paws Up!

I love this MEGA ring brick dog toy because my dog keeps chewing on it with a smile on his face and it is lasting month after month. Never had a dog toy this durable before. I will keep buying Tuffy durable, strong and tough toys. In fact I bought one for his Xmas present!

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my sister's 2 dogs, however, my dog has the exact same toy and loves it. There are squeakers placed strategically around the whole ring and the material is very durable. The squeakers didn't last that long unfortunately, there might only be 1 working squeaker left, but the toy is still functional and currently has no holes. We have had this toy for about 7 months now, and it is just now starting to get some frayed edges around the inner ring. While the squeakers may not last long, the toy itself is holding up remarkably well to my aggressive chewer. If and when this toy finally gets destroyed, I will definitely purchase a new one!

Bought this and the octopus. Granted the ring is bigger and a little stronger. But strong is relative to dog and any dog's jaws are made to desimate, not nibble. This is another nibble toy.Ten minutes and the telltale hole, squeeker in pieces, stuffing neatly removed. Now I want to be clear...this wasn't the edge of the toy ripping off. THIS WAS THROUGH THE so called EIGHT LAYERS OF TUFFNESS! so much for that.The other toy, the octopus was ridiculous. Totally shot in the blink of an eye.I bought one big toy and one little toy for one big dog and one little dog. Once I saw what the little dog did to the octopus, I took it away and gave him the ring, thinking maybe the octopus was made for tiny dogs and at this point I was concerned the ring wouldn't last with my big dog. It didn't last with the little dog so I know the big dog would have inhaled it.The ring is a pretty big toy.First off here's why: This business of a soft stuffed toy, which I suspect is more for us than for dogs. Because dogs aren't babies who want cuddly dolls. They're dogs and even the littlest dog plays hard.Why aren't these kinds of toys thick and quilted to within an inch of their existance? why do we need stuffing and cheesey squeekers? I'll give it, this squeeker's plastic was a little thicker...but honestly...a little thicker means nothing. It means one less chewing motion before the dog spits it out (if your dog doesn't swallow them...mine doesn't thank goodness).These are expensive toys. My dog likes a chew challenge, it's true. But I expected, particularly for the price and the description that the smaller would last at least a couple of hours and the larger a few days.But they do not live up to the description...the eight layers weren't there that I could see and while I could see to the other side I wasn't counting layers. Or maybe all the layers are in another toy or a different part of it. I don't know. I stopped the play as soon as I saw it was coming apart.In this age of high tech design and technology PLUS the need for jobs in America - why are we producing such subpar products. And I realize that for some dogs these toys are just fine, but I know for many, maybe most, they're just not very good.Frankly, I do not understand why all dog toys are so incredibly destructable now. And because they are, they're dangerous to dogs. Dogs don't care about soft...it's the squeeker they go after.Kongs used to be superior toys. No more. Devil toys too (the big red rubber ones with little horns) but no more. They're making toys flimsier and I realize it's because the stronger they are, the longer they last and there's not enough money in it.But I think this is bad strategy. I am willing to bet we dog owners will pay a lot of money for a toy that will last more than a few minutes. I couldn't even give my larger dog her toy because the little dog killed the octopus so fast. And I mean FAST!!I don't want a toy that's filled with stuffing that's going to be all over my livingroom AND in my dog's throat and gut. I don't want a toy that's cute. I want a toy that's up to dogs playing and chewing. That's what they do and they do it hard.

dog toy. well made. looks nice. gets lots of chewing.

My 8 month old American Staffy loved his new toy....and it kept him amused for hours. However the toy only lasted 5 days which was disappointing. My Amstaff is a power chewer!

我が家の愛犬ゴールデンドゥードルの男の子。今まで、破壊したおもちゃは数知れず！どんなに硬くて絶対に大丈夫だろう！と思って買っても、半日もたず破壊！だから、メガリングも半分期待はしてなかったんですが、それが、それが、どうでしょう！本当に壊れないんです！必死に手で押さえすごい形相で戦ってましたが、諦めたのか疲れたのかリングを手にかけたまま寝てしまいました。ちょっと笑えました。とにかく、このリングはすごいです！
