i build electric guitars and do guitar repairs and i can already tell this little tip is going to make my shop more efficient. i was using a smaller hakko chisel tip but found that soldering the backs of pots was somewhat tedious with the smaller tip. used the new one for the first time today; heat transfer on a wide solder puddle on the backside of a volume pot was almost immediate. it's so nice, it really makes soldering an enjoyable activity.

Genuine Hakko tip and fits perfect. Heats up properly and solders as it’s supposed to.

Works well for SMD work. Have not tried it for super tiny components, but seems to work well for most hand solderable applications

Used them for making microscope slide jewelry, I like them I kept burning up my other tips these hold up well if you follow the directions on how to tin them and clean them, ordered two more.

There's no arguing that Hakko products are top of the line for soldering, but this tip really takes it to the next level. Delivers heat super effectively on any gauge of wire or pad. This is the only tip I will ever need.

Bought this to see if the chinese soldering station could be upgraded to better performance. The difference between the one included with the yihua and this hakko tip is astounding, would highly recommend this part to anybody with a Yihua 853AAA.

Quality as expected. You get what you pay for. I bought some other tips from a different site. This was around 6 tips for the price of this hakko tip. They were useless and didn’t transmit the heat to the tip. Decided to buy this one and it heats up instantly as it should. Fits my old maplin soldering station easily. Only used it a little but fully expect it to last. Great value for money compared to others.

Genuine Hakko, always good quality. This is a very versatile tip, great to have in your soldering setup.
