Well balanced and they sound great on a floor tom: lovely warm tone, reminiscent of the Swing Era. Dust off those Krupa licks!

Ideal for Baroque work. To achieve best look, I sanded and wood stained them.

The person I purchased these for was very pleased with them.

Great soft mallets, beware though, these are very very soft and not great for a large majority of timps work.
